Funny thing about this show. The reason given for its cancellation was...you had to watch the show. No really. It was because you have to watch so carefully to get so many of the jokes and the suits didn't think people would want to have to pay attention to a show that much. This was, of course, before VCRs became popular and way before streaming. A show truly ahead of its time. I'll mention one thing you missed: On the door that says "Police Squad" the word Police is backwards (designed to be read from outside) but the work Squad is regular (designed to be read from inside). In the first episode, he mentions doing his laundry and later you see his laundry in his car. That's because of the "other" case that he wasn't assigned to. He was trying to happen upon one of the naked models. Also, the "special guest star" only appears in the opening sequence and always dies.

Good ep, great reaction. :) The gag with the background photos at the boxer's place, was they were all of him KO'd, as he was denying ever taking a dive. :P This ep's special guest star, Georg Stanford Brown, the cop who was crushed by a falling safe, is the director of ep 5. Ep 4's special guest star will truly delight you.

fun fact, Joe Dante, Director of Gremlins, directed the second episode. Not sure about the first, since I didn't pay attention. But that's interesting! ..... and YES... you should watch Kramer vs. Kramer ... !!!!

Where are the other 4? No way you catch everything on the 1-4th viewing either Jen. Don't even try, just enjoy what you do catch. One of my favorite bits is the end at each episode where they name everyone he previously caught and is in the same prison the new bad guy is going to. And of course the "locksmith" line is the best comedic line ever written
