Just when I thought MCU couldn't get any cooler we introduce MAGICCCC!!! 😆😆 Exactly as you guys predicted, I loved this one so much! Dr Strange is such a cool character and I loved his origin story here. Can't believe all the crazy visuals in this movie, it blew me away!! SO looking forward to seeing where this character goes next and how he intersects with the larger universe! Guardians Vol 2 coming next!

2026-10-07 05:00 This might be my favourite MCU film. It’s weird, it’s trippy, and Benedict plays it so well.

Wow what an amazingly magical thumbnail just brilliant Jen 🔥

Dylan

That scene with Dormammu shows why you save before a hard boss fight.

Ian

2026-10-07 05:00 “Mister?” “Doctor.” “Mister Doctor?” “It’s Strange.” “Maybe. Who am I to judge?” That scene cracks me up every time 😂

I'm about to go on a magic carpet ride with this My mind is spiralling already from this .🤯 Cheers Jen 🤗 a double dose of great movies First a Fish Called Wanda 🐠and now Dr Strange .🔮🪄

Ian

Seems you have seen something with Benedict Cumberbatch in Jen , he was the bad guy in star trek into darkness 🖖🔥

Patrick

I wanna hear more about Jen's Ayahuasca trip!

John Sullivan

He was in Shakespearean theatre productions before going to movies Just like Patrick Stewart

Jason Scade

Mushroom strog for dinner tonight. 🍄‍🟫

JustSomeDude

In my mind, Jen has a giant Marvel board with a bunch of yarn connecting everyone in a "Who would win and how?" way with different colored yarn for all sorts of scenarios and after she gets introduced to a new hero, she goes back to it and updates the whole board. Like all of us did when we got into Marvel or DC, right? Right?

Curran Dobbs

I was wondering if you recognized the bad guy from Serenity.

Christopher Lamont Harris

I'm glad you enjoyed Doctor strange I used to read his comics back in the 70s and they picked the right person to play him.

Julian Pamplin

One of my all-time favorite reactions of hers is Star Trek: Into Darkness. I’m so bummed that Khan didn’t make the same impression on her as her reaction made on me. 😞

Ernie McKrackin

"His powers could be anything"... Accurate. lol

Over50Gamer

I may say things that others have said, but.... You definitely did see Benedict Cumberbatch before, as Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness. And Chiwetel Ejiofor (Mordo) was in Serenity as the bad guy. For Dormmamu, Benedict also did the voice acting for it, and the VFX company did motion-capture on him for Dormmamu's facial expressions. (EDIT: if you look up videos of Benedict mimicking voices, be can imitate a lot of people; he really has a versatile voice!) Can't say much more without spoiling anything, but I love this movie. It's one of the few times the hero defeats the villain by making them rage-quit! 🤣

Over50Gamer

Back when the MCU was in full swing and they were doing the casting, when I saw Benedict was picked, I knew he was perfect for the role, judging from how he played Sherlock in the BBC modern adaptation.

Over50Gamer

By the way... if you can, WATCH THE GAG REEL!! I just did (I didn't know they made one!) and it's hilarious!

Stephen Dias

This one is definitely the most trippy movie in the MCU. The comics had some pretty funky graphics; I love how they did it in the movies. It looks like there's a few more movies before all the heroes come together again, but you'll get there eventually, Jen.

Stephen Dias

For me, Chiwetel Ejiofor was "That Guy from Love Actually" before this movie, although I did see him in "Serenity" first.

Tom W.

Jen, you're awesome. Don't ever change. 😉

Dean

My only real critique of this film is that Madds Mikkelson is so cool that I feel like he should have been used for another bigger (even recurring) villain. His role in this was pretty thin.

Tim Arnold

There's a an easter egg in the scene just before the car crash, when he takes the phone call and the guy tells him about a possible patient who suffered spinal damage in an experimental suit of armor... that's Rhodey, from his fall during Civil War.

Major Peril

Great reaction... loved it! Always willing to view Doctor Strange one more time. Has to be my favorite character origin story from the MCU, after Captain America of course. 😃

warcrimes

Dr Strange was surprisingly a great flick. Sadly the countdown to the MCU going to utter shit is approaching.

Thomas Malley

let's be fair.. he was speeding and overtaking on winding road on a mountain side that only had two lanes (one in each direction), and he was looking at his phone while being ON the phone.... I mean he couldn't have been more careless and arrogant.

Thomas Malley

"Mister Doctor". I can't get enough of how he delivers that line. He's trying to be respectful. He was a great villain. But yes, it would have been nice to see more of him.

Jen Murray

Apologies, I forgot I saw Benedict Cumberbatch in Star Trek: Into Darkness. My bad memory for faces strikes again

Jason Scade

Magical reaction, Jen! Delighted you loved it so. That was a fantastic re-watch of D.S. for myself and I've not seen the D.S. sequel, so looking forward to that portal-ing in some day. 59:52 "I fear he's woefully under-prepared." He's certainly not Tout Prest. 1:07:12 "That cape is going to town!" Cape fear. Hyper-stoked for GotG: Vol 2. 🥳🎉💜 A few moving scenes. Many great and classic songs on the soundtrack. For me, the stand-out track is Sam Cooke 'Bring it on home'. Heartfelt, touching, beautiful. Btw, there is a brand new psychological thriller ongoing, currently at ep 3-ish. 'Cape Fear'. Edge-of-seat tension at times and very tense/unsettling. Stellar cast. Javier Bardem plays the calculating, manipulative, Lecter-esque ex-convict who is out for revenge. He's terrifying in it. It's a modern adaptation of the 1957 novel that had two famous film adaptations. Cape Fear (1962 - stars Gregory Peck, Robert Mitchum) Cape Fear (1991 - Dir by Scorsese. Stars De Niro, Nolte, Jessica Lange, Juliette Lewis) I'd hugely recommend it. A+++ tier tv. It's cinematic.

Julian Pamplin

It’s a gift and a curse. I love how you don’t spend a bunch of time saying “oh that’s the guy from….” like other reactors do.

SirJohnCard

So you're ready for another Avengers movie? Are you sure?

Corran Parsegian

I always thought it was the “pilot” in Hammers suit that got twisted around. Hmmm.

Carlos Stevens

Of all the Avengers (back in the day when I collected those comics) Dr. Strange was my favorite. Spiderman would have been my favorite but I had stopped collecting when he joined the Avengers. Cloak And Dagger would have been my second favorite, but I they also weren't in those comics when I collected. Jen, you might want to check out the Cloak and Dagger series; very well done.
