Good news indeed 🙂 always love seeing mum pop up . You are Futuramas version of rob sterling Jen your descriptions are always brilliant and make one so excited to hit play 🔥🔥🔥 shall watch this later on with snacks

ellis

Do you ever think we should've got a Quark and Zoidberg crossover/spinoff? It would just be them sitting around discussing hu-mans and robuts.

Harvey Lee

Sunday's always made better with a Futurama reaction Good news indeed 🗞️ Mama Jen with her plushies always makes me smile😄and she always gives great explanations in her vids Happy Sunday !!

Adam Harris

Scott Bakula is best known for starring in the sci-fi show Quantum Leap. He also played Captain Archer on Star Trek: Enterprise.

William Rosmer

you should definitely watch "Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves"

William Rosmer

the name was a Mork and Mindy reference but they were general Robin Williams parodies

Stephen Dias

Yes, unlike TNG and DS9, ST: Enterprise only got four seasons and some poor reception. George Takei's line, "way to kill the franchise," suggested that it was the end of Star Trek. Of course, it was not. "Bender's Game" came out before the Kelvin timeline movies, Discovery, Lower Decks, etc.

Stephen Dias

"Rocketship" is a song from the 90's by Kathy McCarty. I believe Futurama producer, David Cohen, was a fan and he wanted to use it in the show.

Jeff McClellan

Mazes and Monsters (1982) -- a movie that you might really enjoy and provide some insight into the so-called "satanic panic" re D&D at that time...

Gary Cameron

As a table-top gamer (and LOTR fan), this is possibly my favorite of the Futurama movies!

John Sullivan

Maybe I'm getting soft but all the dwarf-eating felt too dark for Futurama

Banes

Wow, there’s a pull! I gotta revisit that one. I wonder if there would ever be enough interest to get Jen - or anyone - reacting to it. Looks like it’s on YouTube.

Geoff S.

Gary Gygax invented the game Dungeons and Dragons.

Michael Knight

I'd pick that over damn shitty Star Trek Strange New Worlds, Star Trek Picard, and especially Star Trek Starfleet Academy over far more superior and much more competent Star Trek Enterprise. RIP Star Trek 2005🪦

Brent Justice

Scott Bakula is in Star Trek Enterprise, which I hope you do after Voyager. He is also the main actor in the very popular TV show Quantum Leap, that is what he was most known for, before Enterprise.

LookingForOwls

Fry met Bender in line to kill themselves in episode 1.

LookingForOwls

This one is a fun watch, but I think it's the worst overall of the 4 movies. You notice the breakup into 4 episodes far more here than the others, and a 4 act structure in a movie feels weird. Plus there's no good explanation for why they got sucked into bender's imagination, and there was absolutely no consequences for what happened while they were in there. I'm a big fan of the last movie though, excited for it.

Adam Harris

The LOTR segment is my least favourite part of the whole story. It's just a very thinly veiled excuse for the writers to indulge in their fantasies, and doesn't really fit into the sci-fi theme of Futurama.

John Sullivan

That isn't as bad as the kids being a class of livestock slaves, and Bender being suicidal was central to the plot. This feels like random cheap cruelty for the sake of cruelty. But probably I just got older 😂. It doesn't seem to bother anyone else

rocketdave

iirc, it was always the plan that Igner would turn out to be Farnsworth's son, but they never got around to working that into the show before it was canceled.

Will Jen ever get to Lower Decks though? :P
