Just wanted to add that I think this is the true series final episode, more so than The Devil's Hands (good though it is). The original Futurama TV series, like the original run of a certain space-journeying series, just kind of ended without a true finale.

Awesome. Yes, "Sweet Goofbag" was the cute nickname I remembered Leela calling Fry, but it happened at a different time than I thought. "Cellphone telephone!" 😂 I totally forgot about that one! My son and I used that a lot after this one came out. It's time to revive it. Yes, the writers got used to writing ambiguous endings to their series finales in the hope that the show would be revived. [I had to look it up. Comedy Central picked up the show one year after this DVD came out.]

Nine, the leader of the Legion of Mad Fellows, appeared in some early Futurama episodes as a background extra. The original idea behind the character was that 31st century Earth had a caste system and the nines were basically worker drones, but that went by the wayside before the show even aired.
