Alastar is not exactly French, he's Cajin. The Cajins are a group of People in the south of the USA particularly in Louisiana with French ancestry and they speak a very unique variation of French. Gambit from the xmen is also Cajin.

The first part of the Niffty song is also on Charlie. Niffty did a good job at selling the hotel, but to a roach. The second part of the song, that prbly no one understood was very nice xD (at least charlie did not, idk how much the rest of hell can understand japanese, at least it is implied I think that everyone can speak english and their native language, but they cannot understand other languages)
