The reason why some of the lizard men look more human than others is based on their own personal priorities. Gabiru has a lot of pride in being a lizard man so that's why he looks more human

Guinaur

If you like "casual Milim", definitely try Slime Diaries at some point XD

Abura-bo

Dandelions are a small, bright yellow, almost fuzzy flower, considered a weed in some places but some cultures make a tea from them. That's most likely what the reference was about.

T3RS1

Milim is not called: "The Destroyer" for nothing. My favorite character after Souei.

Also gabiru got wings on his Evolution. You could see them in the scene in the cave

Dandelions = löwenzahn

Rimiru is actually more powerful than Gelmud was, so with Gelmud dead, Rimiru accidentally renamed Gabiru by basically shoving more magicules into his body by speaking his name. Had Rimiru known what he was doing and wanted to do it, he could have renamed Gabiru while Gelmud was still alive because he was more powerful and could override the magicules Gelmud used in the naming, but it would have taken intent.

They are also edible in a pinch. My dad used to collect them, dip them in batter and deep fry them. I never really developed a taste for them but he ate them for years.

Abura-bo

I'd never heard of that. I mean as a country boy, we had dandelions all over the pastures and fields, so we had to try one. Bitter as heck. First and last time for that experiment 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Some guy

In Milim's defense, it is super-honey. The anime cut the side story where Rimuru rescues the monster honeybee and her beetle guard. Which is ironic because they had to go back and explain them in a later season when they become more important. This is why anime/tv adaptations should always consult the authors! (Looking at you, Game of Thrones...)

EnorIII

Probably irrelevant, but it's been nagging at me. I'm pretty sure, there's a slight mistranslation in the subtitles. Rimuru calls Milim a 'tensai' twice, and they translated it as 天才 meaning 'genius' or in this case 'prodigy', but I'm pretty sure they actually meant 天災 meaning 'natural disaster' or more fitting 'catastrophe'. They also dropped the wordplay on Rimuru's attack, where he says 'eat this' rather than 'take this' ☝🤓

The Force

I don't think the actual full reason why some Dragonewts (and other evolutions) are more humanoid then others. There's some theories, the two most popular being that it's 1. driven by personal preference/skill 2. Because Rimuru named them and he used to be human so some human spirit is mixing in At least as far as I'm aware neither of these have fully been confirmed in canon.

Ketanak

the naming doesn't always evolve a species to the same one, like the goblin girl and the goblin male didn't become the same subspecies, also Shion and the princess ain't the same subrace either.

Jargo

Gabiru actually didn't just become purple, he grew wings and larger horns.

Neila Reacts~

haha the game of thrones jab but thanks for the info!

Gabiru's va is also the va of the protagonist from Konosuba and if you like Gabiru you will LOVE Kazuma

wiski

Milim, the other character like Shion where they tried to 'enhance' things from the manga, although in this case it was less a change in character design and more they reduced the clothes coverage.

Ca2ual

Milim is actually one of if not the strongest demon lord

Vectoris

I would just like to point out that Great Sage says, "To the nearest measurable degree". Milim is so strong that Great Sage at this point in the series literally cannot measure Milim's full strength.

Quantum Anomaly

plus, milim hasn't even gotten serious so she isn't exuding the full amount of magicules she can yet
