ok so this anime got recommended a lot and i finally checked out the first episode and OOF IDKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK like this was a weird introduction to the anime tho. lemme know what u guys think in the comments because i m debating if i should continue lol

Its not lewd but the whole anime has a "weird" theme. Its one of the things that make it unique.

Also it has some but it is not overly fan servicey. The pilot is about as bad as it gets with maybe one exception that I can think of.

If I remember correctly the manga is made by an ex assistant to the writer of chainsaw man which made a lot of sense when I read that. also are we getting more JJK anytime soon?

I've seen both seasons and it's in my personal top 15. It would have been higher if certain episodes hadn't been so much filler. I've never viewed ep. 1 as having fan service just part of the story stelling. There was nothing seductive about it at all. The art style also gets better as the season progresses.

It has more of a weird vibe, however everything comes together weenie, banana, yet most important it has heart, soul and creativity. You will definitely like this anime Neila.

Yeah, I still find even the 'good' Dubs just sound off to me, since it seems like the VA's are too focused on trying to match their words to the mouth movements, even if it makes the dialogue sound really weird and stilted. Only Dub I've actually liked ever since I realized Subs were almost always better is Black Lagoon.

This anime is not for beginners of anime to be frank. It uses a lot of Japanese lore and japanese humor so unless you are familiar it can be hard to follow and enjoy.

I can see why the first episode can be a bit off putting XD I mean I like it a lot but it does give you a bit of whiplash, especially if you aren't like super deep into anime already. That said, this show is super weird but really well made. It's full of a lot of genuine heart and creativity, I'd say it's worth continuing.

Agreed. I can go either way with Sub and Dub but DanDaDan is one of those where I prefer the Dub.

This is a pretty weird anime, not the weirdest by a LONG mile, because this is a coming of age anime, in Japan those tend to have a lot of sexual imagery/inuendo/metaphor. Her being naked, him losing his balls/weenie, literally having to re-earn their dignity in a stage where they feel awkward and uncomfortable with themselves, it's a common theme in these types of shows from japan. It also plays into a lotta interesting and weird tropes/cultural quirks of Japan. The intro definitely is one of the weirder episodes but there's a handful like this, it's funny though It's basically the same as American/European media having a tv show/movie where you got "teenagers" getting drunk at parties and being awkward and making mistakes then maturing from them, Japan's just a lot more comfortable with addressing the sexual more directly and using the semi-nude/nudity stuff as it's purpose is less horny and more symbolic which they separate culturally very well.

the first episode is the worst and fair warning the last episode if I recall correctly is a bit lewed. the rest is a lot better, but definitely stick with it... this have become one of my favorite shows top 5 easily,

I did drop the Manga after a few chapters and the Anime after a few episodes. It just didn't click with me. I got told that it's sooo good, but meh. But I don't know if 1 episode is enough to decide? For me it technically was, because I knew I dropped the Manga before. But I stuck around a few more episodes for a friend. In the end, it's your decision.

The first episode can be a bit much and the show as a whole is also fairly weird but it does not get to this level of bad but I encourage to try it a little more but if you drop it we wont hold it against you since not every anime will be for everyone !
