From the NPC's point of view. when the players left the game, and their eyes they were abandoned. Ains was the only one to stay behind with them.

Pharos Dusklight

Sorry, was not the manga, I said Wrong on the Clementine video, is the light novel that covers most of the informations

Body of effulgent baryl is a spell that protects against blunt damage.

That's how magic users have to fight. They pile on all the defensive spells they can that don't have a time limit but rather expire after a certain action, pre-prep any spells that can based skills or subclass and lay foundation for any spells have a long activation time hoping to time it with their battle. Of course if they're in a party and not solo then the tactics different. Shalltear is the strongest offensive guardian. Albedo is the head of all guardians and operation head of strategy and assaults. Demiurge is the head defensive guardian and strategist.

The Force

Clementines death isn't the only thing more brutal, basically anytime you see a death and go "god that was brutal" it was probably dampened significantly from the manga, which was dampened significantly from the LN usually as well. This show really leans into the "we're monsters" elements

The director's cut so to speak is the light novels, not the manga. The terminology you are searching used in games is "life leech" or "life steal".

Since someone explained effulgent already, beryl is a gem in sometimes green, blue, yellow, pinks, and so on. It's made from Beryllium which is used to create hardened alloys. The idea of Body of Effulgent Beryl would mean something like 'body of radiant hardness'.

Extra lore: The skill Ainz uses at the end is "Goal of all life is death". Ainz created his character to be cool role-play wise rather than make it especially strong in a fight, so he focused a lot on instant death magic. This magic is usually useless against other players, since they have a chance to resist it based on the difference in levels and at the same level, it very rarely works. However, the skill "Goal of all life is death" takes 12 seconds to use (the clock behind Ainz) and then makes it that the next instant death magic always succeeds (unless the enemy has a world item). So Ainz used it and followed it up with the "Cry of a Banchee", which is an area-of-effect instant death spell. Shalter died but was resurrected by the item Peroroncino gave her. Resurrection items can only be used once in a fight, but most players have them. "Goal of all life is death" can be used once every 3 days. So the skill is not very useful when fighting players. PS: Shaltear on the other hand was optimized for combat, which is why she is the strongest guardian and one of the reasons why she puts up such a good fight against Ainz.

The odds were even worse than I think you thought. I know English isnt your first language so I believe you were thinking Cocytus meant his odds were 3/7, or roughly 43%... but Cocytus said his odds were 3 TO 7, not 3 IN 7... 3 to 7 would be 30%, since that is saying that Ainz has 3 wins to 7 wins, or 3 in 10. Thanks for the content!! :D Edit: and yes, I would HIGHLY recommend the light novels... they are SSSOOOO good!
