What are you talking about? Aira is the Main Character!!! Everyone shall follow her instead! I'm not ready for the next episode...

Veteran Ghost

The "pretty girl" bit is a callout/reference to Sailor Moon, if I remember it right.

Abura-bo

As the "pretty girl" rubs Okarun's ball throughout the episode....

Yeah, Aira is delusional, like Shadow from Eminence in Shadow, but she really believes it. Also, the gold part of the ball is Granny's spirit energy in physical form. Okarun's balls are inside that.

In Japanese folklore, children were seen as beings who connected the world of the living with the spirit world, which is why children can see spirits, but lose that ability once they get older. This is how Aira was able to see the pink lady as a child, but not when she was older, until she touched the golden ball. IRL, that was a way for communities to cope with child mortality and to be able to process the grief differently. It isn't until they turn 7 that they are considered fully in the world of the living.

Y’know you’ve got to marvel at Aira’s self-confidence. Pretty sure she could manifest anything she wanted (well in a way she even manifested spiritual powers). She’d be one hell of a main character if she had her own series.

Neila Reacts~

tbh she would fit the emminence in shadow anime lmao

Tony

Dunno, gotta see if she has the resolve to train first not just being delulu hahaha. Cid is insane but he always trains to be stronger even if for a mad reason like being stronger than a atomic bomb
