Silver

Let's gooooo. Been waiting for these

Argon

Fun fact: the way thought acceleration works, it literally speeds up your brain. So with Kyoya's 300 times acceleration, 1 second became 300 for him. A severed head stays conscious for 2-5 seconds. Which means, after he was made one head shorter, he had to witness up to 25 minutes of agonizing pain before he faded away.

Guinaur

Wohooo!! Also "I'm aroused" That got me 🤣

Ali

the next two episodes going to be so great, just know you'll love it

Dethrox

*Reads the description.. good :D that would be cruel indeed

Argon

Btw, the reason why Rimuru's magic works under anti-magic area is that it is spirit magic and scientific knowledge of our world. He summoned lesser water spirits, which he then used as lenses to focus sunlight into a laser. The bigger ones were for focusing and the smaller ones for guiding the beam. When the smaller ones were destroyed, he simply had to resummon them.

Silver

In the LN the soldiers in the camp suffered a lot more. Here it's all head shots and heart shots but in the LN he was going crazy on them

PotterBrony

Came here to say just that. Modern experts seem to agree that it’s just a few seconds for oxygenation stops and consciousness fades. So yeah, up to 25 minutes for that A-hole to suffer. People used to think it was up to 30 seconds. Can you imagine? 2.5 hours of that? If anyone deserved that, though.

Ketanak

also this army did nothing wrong but obey their leadership, none of them harm Tempest citizen yet, might have count in the painless death

Konek Besar

Yeah please don't be cruel 🙏.. im eager to see your reaction these last 2 episodes

NotFunny

S4 may be out but I want to wait till Neila watches it.

Void Star

you were looking for a word "scaroused" aroused/scared, it's a slang, but it works

The Force

MEGIDDO!! Still one of the coolest, cleanest applications of magic and modern science in an isekai to date. Also very much as you said a weapon Rimuru would use. These people may intend harm and destruction but they have yet to actually do anything so a bit of a clean kill is fine. Though I doubt just cause they're clean killshots means that all of them are, many probably suffered a great deal as their vital functions stopped... At least I like to imagine so xD

Dethrox

They would do all kind of wrong though.. ? :D if we saw them talking like oh man this is wrong i dont wana do this then sure.. naah these arent just following orders those are scumbags that deserved more..

Abura-bo

It actually surprised me that it took so long for a modern human to use modern science in an isekai. I was captivated by this spell the first time I watched it.

Twohearts Off

You're calling Megiddo "considerate"?! That's just Rimuru not wasting his time on nameless soldiers, he doesn't want to take any chances with the whole resurrection thing. They're still getting shot with lasers lol.

Ketanak

I disagree. Beside the three talking about crime, most soldiers are soldier for a better pay but if they disobey they die as traitor in exchange. I think Rimuru thought about this in the ln but i read this part too long ago to be sure .

Crissware

In LN, Rimuru wanted chaos and terror, so he didn't aim at vital spots on purpose. Soldiers could be heard screaming in pain all across the battlefield. But still, what a beautiful episode

Lost

Shortened fun fact: Megiddo is a location, it is mentioned in The Book of Revelation 16:16, as the place with the "Hebrew name Armageddon". If anyone is curious about details, you can just google Megiddo and go from there

Neila Reacts~

it s still considerate since it s painless and quick

Neila Reacts~

haha u can watch it already! it will take me a while to get there

Neila Reacts~

u r right tbh, most of them are just soldiers following others which is why i think meggido was a good thing to use to make it painless and quick

Kaiki Deishu

16:34 your laugh sounded exactly like Rimuru's haha

supersparta333

Rimuru pulling a page from Ainz Ooal Gown in this one lol

Spicoli

Excluding the first ones to get killed, I feel like it would be pretty terrifying to just see everyone around you just dropping like that without any way to defend themselves. Obv would be more cathartic to torture them a bit, but that'd take a long ass time with that many lol

Kirby745i

Yeah, if it wasn't already mentioned, Rimuru isn't using magic here, so his Anti-Magic Area not only prevents the army from using magic, but it also doesn't affect Rimuru's attack at all. His attack is basically Great Sage handling all the millions/billions of calculations to use the water in just the right way to focus the sun's heat into a death laser. If he didn't have Great Sage, he wouldn't be able to pull this off on such a large scale or nearly as quickly.

The Force

Don't think this counts as a spoiler cause it's presumable for people, and probably explained during the event in the ln/manga but if requires some nerdy understanding that newer viewers to fantasy might not get. Though it does only truly explain this in the show in S3 iirc xD

Virtuous_Wanderer

Fun fact: there were... studies done that somewhat proved that a severed human head stays "alive" and conscious for up to two whole minutes after being removed from the body. So, when Hakuro cut that guys head off, he was using a skill called Thought Acceleration along with All Seeing Eye to basically slow time by accelerating his thoughts 300x meaning, that he in theory was "alive" and conscious for quite a while after his head was cut off. Fun Fact 2.0: Geld in particular REALLY does not agree with killing allies in exchange for power due to his experiences with the Orc Disaster's army, and he was also REALLY upset at the deaths of the citizens of Tempest because a LOT of kids died, and he is somewhat like the "Unofficial second Dad" to the children in Tempest because, again, he is beloved by children, and went far out of his way to play with the kiddos whenever he had the chance because of the high infant mortality rate of the Orcs before they fell under Rimuru's protection. Basically, Geld loves the kids of Tempest, and was extremely unhappy that so many were killed, and he took it out on Shogo. Geld "Catch These Hands" "Unofficial Father" Tempest (because, technically every monster named by Rimuru also adopts his family name) is one of my favorite characters.

Virtuous_Wanderer

There were people there that did take part in the initial raid on Tempest though

Cons

the most annoying part is how awesome they think they are even though they fought them weakened

Minidiamant

there is a 1 hour cut of geld just beating shogo, I really recomend.

Tim See

One of the reaction channels I follow, YaBoyRockLee always calls Falmuth "FoulMouth" and I can't stop calling them that because of how much I hated them lol.

Tim See

"I need to learn how to insult more people" lmao the best reason to want to learn English. PS. Love Neila's shirts during this watch <3

Timothy Ahn

The move that hakuro did, best way to describe it or to compare it, if you watched Bleach, its similar to what Mayuri did against the espada (syaelaporro, forgot the actual spelling, but the number 9 espada) the type of poison mayuri used that slowed down time for espada, where each second felt like a year. Honestly, it was something that I JUST realized even though i rewatched slime a bunch of times
