Just have to leave this here, great reaction sires so far i love to watch new people get introduced to Overlord since it's one of my favorites. For season 4 there will be a movie (Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom) that takes place in the middle of the season, between episode 7 and 8. To minimise confusion and get the story in chronicle order it would be best to watch the movie after s4e7. - Love your videos

Living under Ainz in E-Rantel is probably the best place to live as a human in that ebtire world because its probably the only safe place as long as you follow the law nothing bad will happen because there is no crime and your leaders are the strongest beings in the world

GG for finishing season 3! It really was a wild ride lmao. They should give a city to each of the guardians to manage. Aside from Demiurge's, Albedo's and Shalltear's cities they should be okay, or it could even turn out great (I'm sure Sebas would be a good mayor). Demiurge's city would probably be added to Hell as a DLC for when Hell just isn't enough.

So do the tears o7 Gazef Also tbf to Ainz with regards to Gazef, he did TRY to get him to not fight, but when Gazef had resolved himself he honored that resolve by not holding back and true death prevents anyone from dishonoring Gazef's desire not to be resurrected.

Yes, 1000%. So many reactors get confused because they watch the movie after S4 — not that I blame them, since the movie didn't come out until far later.

As Ainz repeatedly says throughout S1-3, he doesn't like killing unless it gives him something. That kind of logic also applies to the innocent people of E-Rantel. Killing innocent people only creates enemies; there's no benefit to it. He was more than willing to kill all the soldiers because they were soldiers. Yes, they had families, but as soldiers, they were there to kill and/or be killed fighting for their country.

I agree! The books mention that being outside the cities is very dangerous, and within the city theirs so much corruption and crime that their was a literal round table of crime factions (this being AFTER Renner put forth rules and restrictions to try to curb it).

It still hurts to see Gazef die. Overlord is definitely a dark anime, but I love it. btw, for the next season, I recommend watching up to episode 7 and then the movie, since that's the chronological order. It's up to you. Excelente reacción, ya quiero ver la siguiente temporada jaja

Neila, I put the blame the nobles and their cocky attitudes. Also, one city for no war with Ainz would've been fine! Sure, that city is like the boarder to other countries, but still. Gazef my man. You will be miss dearly.

Just in case : in ths fight, Ainz showed the most respect : He use his best PVP tactict to fight, basically treating Gazef like an other player.

If you do end up reading the light novels, you should also check out the fan translation of the side and alt history stories. It will give you a LOT more information on Ainz's original world. Also, the Evil Eye alt history story is kinda fire.

The 2 points that annoy me, is that Momon know how to act a fake fight, why not allowing one to the warrior, i know it would be kind of insulting but still. Second is how Ainz never questioned the fact that he lost his humanity, he is looking at every magics and items for fun but not the source of his Isekai or green light nerf. (they never show him even mentioning that he does in the anime) Also Gazef doing that duel has more reasons than pride, Gazef is the main political tool of the King, the King couldn't flee until all nobles did to maintain his PR, but Gazef has to try the hardest, because the king would be criticize if Gazef just fled like everyone. Same for Gazef resurection, he would loose power doing so, weakening the King's power, and the king beeing kinda loyal would have never replace weakened Gazef. So Gazef had to die as a thank to the king that accepted him without discrimination. (Parallele with Shiny armor guy and princess) Lastly, Ains would have resurected him and take him under his command like the lizardmen but Gazef say no and he respected that, because Gazef was similar to Touch me.

A lot of people don't like how Ainz killed Gazef without even giving him a chance, but if you ask me, it's really good if you contrast it with Clementine from Season 1. For Clementine, he gave her a handicap, refused to fight her seriously, toyed with her, and caused her to realize how weak she was and feel despair before slowly killing her. For Gazef, he fought him seriously from the start, used one of his best techniques, and killed him quickly, painlessly, without Gazef even realizing he lost. I think it really shows how much Ainz respects Gazef. Also, Ainz offered to let Gazef be resurrected, but Gazef said he did not want that. So Ainz made sure they could not resurrect him against his will. Honestly, for me, this feels more like suicide from Gazef rather than Ainz killing him. Maybe Gazef was devastated he was unable to protect the King from the Goats at all.

I have no idea why you would watch it before. You should preferably watch it after episode 7 of Season 4 (chronological order) or at least watch it after (release order). I prefer chronological since there are small references to the movie in episode 8 and onward but they are small things.

Ains was to kind to be fair. I would had revived Gazef and order him to train the Nazarik soldier for them to learn Martial Art Technics, that was a waste of talent and knowledge.

Oh I agree, it's just that it wasn't blanket pure brutal evil violence, it's again the pragmatism and respect, tied to a willingness (or non-aversion) to perform vile brutal acts. So it's a little softer than just "Oh okay, my stuff now fuck you" which would be genuine pure evil imo

Ainz already said this before, he does not want to have a ruined country cause that would dirty the name 'Ainz Ooal Gown', so he plans for this country to be a prosperous and happy kingdom where everyone looks with happiness into the future

Oh, and the way Ainz disappeared and reappeared behind the archer in S3 E8 was the same "Time Stop" spell Ainz used here. "Time Stop" prevents the activation of spells, so he had to use "Delay Magic" at just the right moment so that "True Death" would activate the instant the Time Stop spell ended. It takes a lot of skill, even back in Ygdrasill.

It is not just spells that can't activate. Rather, because time is stopped for everything but Ainz, everything but Ainz is invulnerable. Because you can't damage something that is paused in time. But I never really understood why it was important the magic activated the instant the time stop ended, rather than after it ended. Maybe something to do with targeting? But yes, this precise technique was only mastered by about 5% of (magic using) YGGDRASIL players. This is why I say Ainz used one of his best techniques.

The only soldiers that the Empire (the ones that Ainz was with) lost were ones that were trampled to death by their fellow soldiers when Ainz had the "Baby Goat" heading their direction, aside from them, no other soldiers from that side even fought IIRC.
