Gazef asking to duel Ains has the same vibe as a rat preparing to jump into the KFC deep fryer. No one really know why they do that, but everyone know they're cooked (pun intended). Also seeing that kind of magic reminds me that this is originally a game. Imagine starting a new MMO, you turn lvl 3 after beating up a dozen wild boards and then you see two high level players start to fight, one of them casts this bullshit and you get caught into it. I would alt f4 + uninstall + go become a monk.

In the light novel, there's a whole page of just the word "splat" to describe the baby goats crushing all of those soldiers.

Also, Sense Weakness, the skill Gazef used when facing the goat, is meant to detect vulnerabilities — he saw none versus the goat. Plus, Possibility Sense allows Gazef to see the odds he has of defeating a target — against the goat, he saw he had 0 chance, not even a 1 in a million. The goats themselves are weak for their level (over 90), but have extraordinary defense, which is why Gazef couldn't even see a single possibility of winning. Even if he dodged everything, he wouldn't be able to damage it.

I believe many of the nobles bully Gazef because he is a commoner that rose to power. Most of the nobles are extremely classist and do not believe Gazef is that great despite all of his achievements and so belittle his opinions and even see him as inferior simply because he is a commoner and not born noble like them.

The thing I love most about this episode is the goats. In the LN it's like, a couple of pages of just the word "splat" when the goats rampage. Also, yea we love that Ainz updated his profile for Only Fans there. You can see his face and his tatas are out. Yeah, Gazef left his Brain with Climb....

No, you were right the first time, Lupis killed Barbro. The goblins killed the rest of his soldiers. Also, Barbo did not die quickly... Healing magic is scary. And you should blame the idiots. Even if they don't know how strong Ainz is, the Empire army is stronger than their army. The Kingdom may have 4 times as many soldiers but their soldiers are farmers. The empire has trained knights. In addition, there is Fluder Paradyne who could arguably solo kill their entire army as well if he attacked until he was low on mana and then retreated with flying magic to rest and repeat. Also, in most religions, gods are scary. That's just normal. Yes, the king is dumb/naive.

I know it passed some time since this reaction but since no one pointed it out i will add a little detail about this episode: Shub Niggurath is a deity of the Lovecraftian Pantheon also known as The Goat with a Thousand Young or the All Mother. The Dark Young are obviously her little "children" that you can even call Black Goat and thats why they sound that way like a goat.
