Awsome so fun! ^_^ [gets out camera to video for Albedo] ...p.s.Also idk why the translations still say Theocracy here. Its a mistake and they say Demi's plan for the Holy Kindom are what they should say at the end here. (Aka movie arc) the anime had a hard time because there were 2 "religious kingdoms " basicly and they only show the Theocracy in the anime so almost every time "Holy Kingdom" was mentioned its miss translated into English subtitles team thinking its theTheocracy. Even the English dub doesn't get it right. Lol confused alot of people too.

Crawlingchaos03

Yeah, I wanted more action as well, however the other spells Ainz has...ah, I think Grasp Heart is good to keep the dragon with all their meat, scales, bones etc.

GargantuanWitch

Btw, Ankoro Mocchi Mochi is the creator of Eclair and Pestonya. Cool, right?

19:30 a snap

HellToYou

Little fun fact, after this, once the quagoa went to the sorcerer kingdom, Riyuro and Jircniv (el nix) became close friends, they bonded over their trauma caused by Ainz/Nazarick lol

Snap or snapping your fingers is the phrase.

It wasn't explained in the anime, but the scroll Aura used is the World Item: Depiction of Nature and Society. It works by isolating a large area so there's no escape. However, the item always creates a single difficult escape path at random. If someone manages to use the difficult escape path to leave the area, Depiction of Nature and Society will change ownership to whoever escaped. It's a powerful world item with a potential drawback.

Kirby745i

You're right, Neila. Riyuro (the Quagoa leader) is sending his people to die at Shaltear's hands so that they have an "honorable" death fighting her, rather than having his people kill each other.

Kirby745i

I think the reason Ainz didn't have Shaltear and Aura show their strength before getting the Quagoa to surrender was for a few reasons (my theories): • Ainz was trying to teach Shalltear to be more diplomatic and not immediately resort to force/violence. • Ainz didn't want to show off Nazarick's strength immediately in case anyone else was watching. • Ainz didn't want Nazarick to appear like a ruthless conqueror. • Ainz probably WANTED the Quagoa to resist so that Shalltear could show them what happens to those who go against him. If Shalltear had just shown strength from the start, they might have thought they could have stood a chance, or something, but by allowing Riyuro to see how confident Shalltear and Aura were (2 guardians approaching 60,000 Quagoa) by asking them to surrender before even showing their strength, it demonstrates that the Quagoa never stood a chance.

Kirby745i

1000% this. Ainz wants to keep the "materials" in good shape. Besides, Ainz specializes in instant death magic.

Drink orders are too similar. Fr fr. 🤣😎

Kret

The dog creature was smart once he realised what he was up against he sent in the higher ranked ones to be slaughtered otherwise they might have opposed him and led all of them to their deaths

Ketanak

About dragons and gold, there are multiple explanation. Tolkien said dragon are born with innate Greed. IRL, The Norse Dragon Fafnir, was a dude that was curse by a treasure making him a dragon. All these cemented the Dragon love gold stereotype in fantasy.

The Force

Also to demonstrate to the remainders that defiance is futile. Iirc in the ln he basically thinks that he can build back and resist given time but they MUST be willing to submit first, possibly for generations. EDIT forgot they actually brought this out in his talk here xD

The Force

Clan Lord is an appropriate title. His people are basically recently sedentary semi-nomadic warrior culture groups he had to gather by force of arms. He *is* an exceptional leader, but his peoples nature means he comes off as aggressive/villainous by modern standards. He has to be in order to keep his people in line, but he didn't chastise the guy for his retreat, arguably showing approval by offering food from his own treats. Like @A says the Clan Lord and Emperor become good friends in their trauma but also because of a kindred nature. El Nix is known as the bloody emperor because of his violent rise to power and consolidation of control.

Virtuous_Wanderer

That is actually really funny that those two trauma bonded like that. Probably didn't help Jircniv to learn that one of Ainz's subordinates was capable of a one-sided slaughter of ~50,000 quagoa that are probably on average at least as strong as an average soldier/adventurer. Poor dude probably would have had a heart attack if he learned that Ainz also subjugated like 18 dragons.

Virtuous_Wanderer

That seems to be the case with most World Items that they are massively OP but, come with an exploitable weakness.

Philotes

Exactly except there isn't always just one escape path. Different maps have different advantages (like lava map that damages enemies) but in exchange for them they have drawbacks, like multiple escape paths or the escape path is easier.

Philotes

The impressive part is that Shalltear was carefully stabbing and slashing them in a way that not even drop of blood landed on her. She did this since she was worried the blood would put her into a blood frenzy and she would loose her mind like she did just before getting mind-controlled.

Ian Moscrop

I love the way you pronounce Demiurge's name. Please never change it.

Dethrox

Yeah.. i get you.. Rimuru be all like : Beelzebuth !! Ainz : nice one but watch this Grasp heart !! :D like cmon you have 1000 powerful spells us them.. xD

Dethrox

difficult in what sense ? to find it ? or.. traverse it ? :D

Philotes

I went back to the book to check. It doesn't say. I also may have misunderstood originally. There may really only be one exit. "Unless specific otherworlds were used, one of 40 escape routes would be randomly chosen during each activation," "This time, Aura chose one of those specific otherworlds, a simple region of sealed-off space. Besides being trapped, the enemy would not suffer any deleterious consequences. However, there was only one specific way to escape from this place." I think I originally thought "only one specific way to escape" implied there can be more than one but it probably means there is no randomness. My bad.
