Renner the ultimate Yandere. The only thing she wants in life is to live with Climb and have him be hers and she managed to strike a deal with Nazarick so now she can live literally forever with Climb because they both wont die from old age now and all it took was sacrificing the kingdom and submitting to Ainz

Sebby

If i remember right. The author wants to finish the last two books, release them together and then have the anime season come out. Im not 100% sure if this is still the plan or if this was the full intent. I do remember reading that this is what they wanted but I am not fully sure.

Fire9008

loved watching your reaction to the whole overlord series! I would love to see you react to either "Violet Evergarden", or "Yōjo Senki" (The Saga of Tanya the Evil) especially since its second season is about to begin.

Slothful Sins

The seed of the fallen is indeed what allowed her to change her race to demon, but it requires the user to kill alot of people. On another note, shout outs to the Princess for the construction of the orphanage and the free soup, you a real one. On another another note, shout outs to lord Ains for the poison. Unrelated of course, legally speaking

Ketanak

I looked out for the song ask but it's not in the S4 OST so i guess it's a variation of an older one. About the full flashback of Renner, they did this because there was a5 years between S1 and S4 and the on-air watchers needed this to remind of everything. I recommend reading the lyrics of Renner in her song (most of us skip over to read what demigurgu say). OMEDETO for completing Overlord, now time to read

Pharos Dusklight

The cube changes people race, but for that it requires sacrifice if I remember correctly and if you remember past episodes, Renner was show giving food for orphanages but that food was poisoned

RathZa

I remember seeing the flashbacks when it first came out. Being totally flabbergasted on how far back the ties with Renner and Demiurge went. It was hard to still remember about it when you see this over a span of 7 years. Watching all 4 seasons in a go while also discussing topics and getting external confirmation, I can see that the flashbacks would seem redundant.

Yuririn [ユリリン]

Thank you for all the reactions, Neila! It was really nice to go through this journey with you. Believe me, I've been praying hard for a new season as well 🙏

Summerguy

The flashbacks were shown because the gap between season 2 and season 4 were already pretty like 4 years apart so they put in there just in case.

EndgameThor16

in case you're wondering climb basically becomes renners sex slave for all eternity. and in the web novel (which predates the light novel, essentially a rough draft) brain and arche were turned into shalltears slaves (arche being a sex slave)

Woodstock179

Right but again some extremely graphic/ over the top evil parts of the web novel were changed by the author for the light novel publication so its not strictly accurate to the "cannon" of LN/anime anymore when fans tell us these "shock value" tidbits . Many parts of the web novel were changed not just the graphic evilness too. It had many things the Author either decided didn't fit the full story or things they had added in due to fan votes/ reacting to backlash that they later regretted putting into the story. Hense the official publication was not as "over the top" graphicly evil in its "happily ever after" for some characters.

Woodstock179

Amazing anime reaction this whole overlord was a treat seeing you really getting into the experience and vib of the show. So many people are turned completely off by season 3 after realizing "yes we are following an undead overlord taking over the world (by accident) because he just wants to keep his evil alined children npcs happy" ^_^ lol its kinda the dark humor/ horror that keeps the drama because you never know who gets the Jerkni/ Raven/ Carn & Lizard village ending or the Workers/ Zanic / Quagwa/ Gazif experience when encountering Ains& crew. 👏🫡😎

carbonfiberRS

Man I'm so jealous of Climb.......muahahahaha....I don't even know if I'm serious or not 😅

supersparta333

Last I heard that was still the plan.

supersparta333

HOPEFULLY we will be getting season 5 sometime in the near future. The Light Novels are currently on book 16 (released in 2022), with the author planning for book 18 to be the last one. It has been a longer then usual gap since book 16 came out, but last I read, the author wants to release book 17 and 18 either very close together or at the same time (this makes since, since the several of the books are Part 1 and Part 2 of an arc). So the extra long wait could easily be chalked up to the author writing both books and putting in extra work for the finale. Here's hoping we get to see how the conquests of Ainz Ooal Gown wrap up soon!

The Force

If I have a vote I'd vote Mushoku Tensei over Re:Zero, I know it's popular but I find it a bit... meh personally. Mushoku Tense is the grandfather of isekai (in writing, still a relatively new anime) and some details are lost in the anime that make it way... weirder without context since the story follows the character from childhood. I'd only give that context when/if you decided to watch that show though since it's kinda pointless otherwise xD Also I know my comments have been really long in this series, Overlord is one of my top 10 anime of all time, even though I know objectively it's maybe an 8 tops it just hits all my niches really perfectly. Thankfully I have honed the skill of not spoiling and teasing for years with my three younger brothers watching things that I love, it's more fun to see people react to something naturally anyway! Look forward to your next show whatever it is!

The Force

Fun fact time: Renner has been a demon this entire episode! It's why, despite her frail non-martial body she was able to put so much strength into Razor Edge when she swung it, and when Climb approaches the throne room the women outside say "come in last human in this castle" while Renner is RIGHT THERE xD She's been a demon since returning from delivering food to the orphanage, I'll let the hints in the other comments help you gather why :P Also you'd be surprised how many people never realized Renner was working with Nazarick hence why they played it straight right up to the end not showing her killing the king.

Watta

Yea Mare is scary since hes the second strongest floor guardian after Shaltear and hes still young imagine him growing up still more time to get more stronger

Crawlingchaos03

So, most of the plan was the princess doing... Gosh damn haha...Our poor boy is trapped with his waifu for lifeu... And since he is bedridden...she will defiantly take good care of him *wink, wink*

Dethrox

Absolutely agree.. with how low amount of episodes there was.. i'd watch the whole episode of Philips being tortured.. :DD like fr.. from what i heard Overlord may be anime with the most cuts from source materials (just looked it up google says up to 50%..) jesus christ thats a lot xD the other thing i disliked just from the very end.. is Ainz being.. dont wana say ''slave'' to his people but something along those lines like.. you could hear it in his voice he didnt want to do it.. but its what they wanted and so he ''had'' to oblige i dunno.. :// also heavily spoiling s4 opening.. hate it.. :D great song though.. and overall amazing show like im also not manga reader but i really want to read Overlord to know more stuff about the world^^ and really hope for season 5 !

Dethrox

oof.. that could take.. years.. :( but i still want it :P

Dethrox

really.. ? :o i thought killing her father was the final piece :P to become a demon

KillmanSVK

Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy is good fantasy isekai

The Force

Killing her father was to get Climb to fight one of Nazarick to die and "excuse" how she got turned into a demon to him without him ever realizing she sold the kingdom out. She didn't expect Ainz to do it himself (and in the novel her inner thoughts are all about how that one small act made it so she has to play ball cause now if she betrays them it's not just betraying one of Nazaricks people but THE Sorcerer King Ainz who took the time to play along with her)

Blissfull Wulf

I too would enjoy that, but I think I recall Neila mentioning having watched that in another reaction vid, though it might have just been her making a reference to Tanya that lead me to that.

Urf

join us peasants in the wait for season 5

SilverSpade12

The Fallen Seed is a Yggdrasil item that allows players to change their race to demon. I assume there's other race change items but I don't think any others have been named.

Sleighzal

If you want a long series, there's "Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun"
