Ketanak

that time i wake up to a massive slime drop

Ahmed El Fakih

The way I remember which one is from slime and which one is from Overlord is because of the last names. Gazef ends in f, letter that's also in his last name, Stronnoff. Nothing to do with Gazel Dwargon. Now that you know which name goes with which last name, let's recognize their anime. Gazel DWARgon ist the king from the DWARven Kingdom. And there you are (Neuro divergent btw).

Ketanak

The cakemaster Yashida, and the kids are otherworlder that Neila forgot about :) Also Ramyris is underestimate for her size and character, but she is one of the oldest and strongest demon lord. It's just that it was so long ago only 2 or 3 beeings that saw her serious are still alive.

PotterBrony

Not just Hinata and Yuuki and the three dead ones. Yoshida, the cook, is from Japan too. And there are the 5 kids that Shizu and then Rimuru taught. Shizu also from Japan of course

PotterBrony

Oh, you guessed correctly that is the empress’s uncle. She and Eren are cousins.

Shrewd: clever, nothing goes over your head (like Drax! /jk)

Baced on what was mentioned in a previous episode a single gold coin would probably be worth about 1 200 USD although it was 2009 he was reincarnated so it would be worth more because of inflation and I am not going to work that one out lol so she can potentially be making 2 400 USD per day if rimiru is correct with how many customers there are obviously if more customers she makes more if less she makes less

Joseph Zen-aku Kaga

That elf from the beginning of the episode is the bartender from the ...something butterfly... the bar in the dwarf kingdom... also I think the king is a dwarf giant, explains why he hasn't aged back in season 1

Thank you Neilaaa!

when she said Gazel is stronger im pretty sure they meant politically

Virtuous_Wanderer

Two gold coins IIRC, would come up to about $2200 USD (~2000 Euro) The Empress of Thalion was able to guess that Rimuru was an Otherworlder. She didn't really have any spies or other intelligence gatherers watching Tempest, and she also doesn't speak to anyone else that knows Rimuru is an Otherworlder. She just kind of giga-brained it because she is THAT smart. (also yeah kind of a tsundere, and one of my favorite characters because of that fact)

jaquan

just for context about Gazel, we dont really know how strong he is. when he and Rimuru had their friendly duel, Rimuru states he only blocked Gazels last attack because he knew it was coming, because he and Rimuru had the same teacher.

You can't make direct comparisons. But in most fantasy settings a gold coin is usually considered worth about $200. However we can't really know what the exact translation is as every fictional universe does it's own thing. It's best to judge it by the reactions. But in general it's not an unbelievable fortune. But more than enough to live on. Especially when considering it's Rimuru's estimate of the profits of an extremely busy bar.

I really love the fact that you call old men cute when they're acting cute
