What a classic! Could never get that made today. The 00s were a different time. The start of the film was filmed in the Romanian village of Glod, and there are only 4 actors in the entire thing (Sacha Baren Cohen, Ken Davitian - Borat's producer bud, Lunell and Pamella Anderson)! Everyone else was just regular people going about their day! 6:15 The man-kini is iconic! Burned beautifully onto all our retinas. 😂 Funnily enough the Kazakh government didn't take well to this film when it came out, though it did put Kazakhstan on the map, so to speak.

This movie is --- well it is..... and yea I'm fine with borat 2. I rate it 8/10 - just cause of the wierd shock value. - Great reactions. I love when I see you freeze but wait for the screen to change before you pause - its hilarious.... also good luck getting this on youtube.

Oh god Borat... What a show. Might not know this but it caused a whole slew of controversies. Also the last scene in which he tries to kidnap Pamela. It wasn't the first take. they actually had to redo it another day because people were so indifferent to the whole kidnapping. of course that led to its own controversy

Hi miss Neila, I have to say you have a very derpy face and a very erotic physique. I hope i learned correctly. What you think?

If I remember correctly, the creator said he never felt more in danger for his life than when he made fun of the national anthem at the rodeo

Oh yeah, also this movie literally caused Pamela to get divorced. Her husband Kid Rock got extremely angry at the premiere and left halfway through. They divorced directly because of the movie

Hi Nella! You won't believe it, but I'm from Kazakhstan 😂 There are two types of people here: those who get that it's a parody and absolutely love this movie, and of course, those who get offended by it. I'm definitely the first type. It's a brilliant comedy, and I highly recommend watching Sasha Baron Cohen's other movies—many of them are genuinely hilarious 😂 Ali G Indahouse, Brüno, The Dictator (one of the best), and Grimsby. The second Borat movie isn't as good as the first one in my opinion, but it's still watchable. Anyway, thanks to this movie, tourism in my country actually became more popular, and people really enjoy their stay here. Many of them are actually surprised to see such a dramatic difference from the movie. Well, that's all I wanted to say. Looking forward to your new reactions! You have great reactions to the content you watch, and I'll be waiting for more. Thanks for your work, keep it up!

The movie wasn't actually filmed in Kazakhstan but in Romania. Fun fact, the people in that part of the movie did sue after, since they didn't know how the footage would be used and it painted them in a weird light. I'm also from Kazakhstan and got teased about it when the movie came out, but I still thought it's funny. But it's no wonder people think it's different from the movie, because it has nothing to do with Kazakhstan. It's just a nice ethnically and culturally ambiguous character background. The population is low, so not many people would question it. And I don't mean it in like a "deception" way but more like, it makes sense for immersion . Most people can just focus on the jokes and not "well actually" every culturally incorrect depiction if he had picked anything else.
