6:55 To the question, When I was in highschool, yes, yes I did. also the author likes to leave little notes in the manga, for example a lot of the shops visited in the anime are real shops, that let her use them as reference

I don't think Gojo is all that realistic in terms of writing male characters, which makes sense since the series was written by a woman. It's the same as how Men writing female characters usually isn't that accurate. Not to say that he isn't well written. he dodges the normal shojou problems of a character being completely one dimensional, but most importantly, he's both relatable and entertaining. Also, why do you think that you might make people angry with these reacts? I feel like you've had some pretty widely agreed upon takes.

A bit of a fun fact: Most of the locations are actual places in Ikebukuro IRL (the outdoors scenes obviously). The author actually went to all the shops and asked if she could use their names and photos of the interior for the manga, and most of them said yes. The ones that didn't allow the use of the names did let her use the photos of the interior though (Swallowtail is one of the shops that let the author use the name and interior so, if you went there while the manga was being made, the shop would look more or less exactly like in the manga aside from maybe new/different wigs and displays. The fabric shop also let the use the interior photos but, not name IIRC)

Yeah that is about where I am when it comes to the gals I am friends with. It has happened a couple times with different lady friends but, I just come right out and say that I am attracted to them but that I understand if they would rather keep it platonic. If they do want to keep it as a purely platonic friendship that is as far as I take it, and then the topic never really comes up again, and after a few weeks I more or less move on like the feelings were never there.

At 26:20 when they're talking about the game and people are shocked, do remember that in Japanese, there is not way to tell if he's talking about someone else or himself (it's possible but you have to make your sentence differently for that and it doesn't sound natural). The joke lost some of its intensity because with how he's talking, people think they're talking about Gojo, not about a character.

LOL Gojo waking up and looking at a boner like he's shocked, as if he's not the age where he'd be getting morning wood everyday anyway xD For the female friend thing it varies from guy to guy. I'm the kinda guy where if I catch feelings for a chick I'll just say "hey, I was wondering if we could go on a date or something cause I'm startin to feel something more than friendly affection. If not let me know straight though cause it'll squish that so we can just stay friends" and if she says no (which no chick I've known who's been my friend has ever said yes despite all of them also asking how I don't have a girlfriend) it tells me that's not happening so those emotions simmer out. A lot of early affection is infatuation and anticipation so once you've broached the subject and got an answer it's pretty easy to reign it in if it's a no, and if it's a yes that's great! Or I assume it is xD Some guys though lack that confidence and those that do tend to struggle with it, often feeling guilty or scummy because male sexuality/sexualization has been so hyper villainized. Only for a few good reasons too, and good reasons that don't carry over to female sexuality/sexualization at all.

To answer the question about dreaming about someone and meeting them later - lol yes I had that issue when I was in High School and my best friend was a girl I knew for ages. I dreamed about her often (sexually) because I was in love with her too. So it was insanely hard to be around her after and act normal. Especially if those were intimate dreams.
