The one part of this anime i dont like is the introduction of juju. They make her seem terrible right off the bat. I get what they were trying to do but I didnt like it.

I did have a garter. Once upon a time there used to be formal dances. The young ladies would wear ball gowns with garters and the guys, suits. If the girl enjoyed the date and wanted the guy to ask her out again, she would present him with the garter she wore. There was also a wedding tradition, similar to the bouquet toss, were the groom would launch the brides garter into the gathered bachelors atthe wedding.

I see that kind of comment a lot with this episode. And I always wonder whether that is supposed to be an excuse for how Juju is introduced. For me, it doesn't matter what gender the author is, the introduction of Juju feels wrong, even though her character in itself is good (later on).

I think a lot of it is to kill the notion of "horny old man author" that is typically associated with these kinds of series that go kind of hard on the fan service. Not necessarily just for how a character is introduced and/or handled.

I had a couple random pairs that a GF or something would forget but that is about it, and they were never just out for all to see. If I found some, I would wash, and return them next time I got the chance never just a random pair that stayed at my place.

I agree too. Juju is interesting character, with a really crusty exterior, but a complex interior. I couldn't be friend with someone like her IRL, though, crusty people are not for me, bu that's just me. I too do not like the way she is introduced, it is the only stain (IMHO) of this show. The first meeting between Gojo and Juju could have been "softer" and maybe Juju could convince Gojo without resorting to blackmailing (blackmailing possible thanks to the "special" first meeting)
