Ah! finally hearing ya dead friend. Must be rather creepy to others around them haha. Hum, our little group probably did something with the grave or something. Or our boy just knew there was his smartphone underneath haha. I like the second one

Depending on the dog, yes! Dogs track by scent, and while scent is strongest near your actual point of contact cause it sticks, it's also carried on winds and much of the scents dogs track settle without wind as they're heavier than air (basically it's air mixed with stuff) BUT it doesn't settle much so you'd need a really good hunting dog and even then with how fast Homura was moving the trail would probably grow cold quick as she wouldn't leave *much* behind. Also yes, anything you pick up in nature can be useful, you just have to have the knowledge to use it. I mean think about it, you grow food in *dirt* normal *dirt* so when you pick that up and put it in a pot, you could portable growing spaces. Rocks can be used to weigh light things down like tent canopies. Sticks can be stripped and latticed to create light weight barriers and shelters. And that's just from my writing nerd ass where all I know is stuff I've researched for characters, not actual survivalist stuff or geo-sciences etc
