HortyZeltis

I think we found her new favorite character

Silver

All my homies hate Mahito

Freitag

That was why i told you in earlyer episodes: plot armor is not strobg in this anime

Isil

We HAD jjk reactions , not anymore

Ham

Nah.

Christo Badenhorst

RIP the goat. he was really a likable character. - him and Toji were my faves. yess Toji was a dick. but he had a weird charm in him that I just liked. that over confidence but actually the skills to back it up. just Aura farming like a boss. RIP to both of them.

Royce

That's rought buddy.

Ham

Bro, Nanami is fine. He just needs to walk his two legs down to a hospital.

Dethrox

Yeah.. valid crashout :( felt the same way about one episode

drZ

33:25 "I don't think you guys enjoyed my reaction", Reactions are interesting because I get to see someone elses perspective and share in their emotions. It's like watching the anime fresh a second time. You are being authentic, I enjoy having a cry buddy. Here have a tissue! o7 to the goat

Await1506

Well it doesn't matter if it's of the main characters or not, in this anime everyone treated equally)))

T3RS1

It's this episode ha? Well ... Noone could like Mahito to be honest. He's too much anti-human and only psychopath could like him. I'm also not a fan of Nanami ... I like him as a character but I got almost traumatized this season for sure. I still remember to say the least ...

T3RS1

Naah ... he's just misunderstood. Where are all those people saying everyone deserve a second chance? Yea I thought so ... only psychopath would defend him or like him. I like him as a villain not as a person or character. A good writen villain who deserve to be ... A character what you just want to ... with your bare hands. How he screamed back at Itagori ... that moment my humanity left my body for a moment what I wanted to do to him for multiple reasons. And this is why I love anime so much ... because those emotions you could feel only if you care about characters, about story. That is a good f-ing writing and nothing from WEST ever made me feel same emotions as anime does. Frieren, Mushoku, JJK, Solo Leveling, SAO, its different kind of emotions, only anime ever could bring it out of me to feel like a human. That's why I f-ing love reaction content because you can re-live those emotions with others.

JohnKoffey

I'm sorry Neila but I was smiling so much since season 1 everytime u said " I love nanami so much ". xD

Dillon Hansel

Mahito is my absolute favorite characte to just absolutely fucking HATE.

MediumHawk64

Fun Fact: Mahito is the favorite character of King Gnu (the one who made the opening for JJK S2)

Drai

Mahito best villain

SleepyOldBear

14:35 This too, is loss. Welcome aboard Mahito hate train. An appropriate reaction to the freak that killed Nanamin. At least he went down fighting like the warrior he is. RIP.

Silver

It was always my head Canon that Nanami took to Yuji despite the differing personalities because Yuji reminded Nanami of Haibara

Crawlingchaos03

Nanami... Pooooooorrrrrr Quuuuueeeee!!!! I loved that guy, he was cool, well dressed and cared about those around him....

Garland_of_Darkness

People do say the creator must hate itadori for what he goes through, but keep going with the series,. You wont regret it. The creator did say season 2 was when the series actually gets as dark as it was intended to. But good things happen to those who wait.

Dethrox

Neila fr be like hand over the controller ;_;

The Force

You know its gonna be a good episode when you can't even see what show it is the title is just "FUCK THIS EPISODE" and then it cuts off xD Also what a description, very detailed, really speaks to the heart and emotion's she was feeling

Urf

the pure copium in the first half

Twohearts Off

ChivChav

Ngl, Mahito is a great villian, i hate him so fucking much.

The Force

Wall of text coming from a writer/story nerd: There *is* a purpose to Nanami's death. It's a trope but it's also a tool in a Hero's Journey story. It's called "Death of a Mentor" and if you look at Itadori's story it *is* a Hero's Journey. The basics of a Hero's Journey are: A common everyday person is forced into/embarks into a world of mystery and magic, they struggle against powerful forces and (at some point) have a final/decisive victory, they then return to their normal world changed. Itadori was a relatively normal high schooler who's only living relative he was close to died. He then stumbled into and refused to allow Megumi to fight alone because of his grandfather's words. That set him off onto a journey into a mystical world of sorcery and curses where he's been tested and struggled again and again, constantly growing and improving. There have been all sorts of variations of this but a very common trope and tool within modern stories is the Death of a Mentor which serves as one of the Hero's Tribulations/Trials. How do they manage with the grief, how do they overcome it, how do they keep their mentor alive/how do they let what they were taught become twisted. It's done in all sorts of ways and here in this part of JJK Itadori technically suffers TWO mentor deaths. Gojo get's sealed, but not only is Itadori just not really aware of that right now it also seems impossible and could theoretically be solved. After all prison's have to be openable right? Nanami was Itadori's true Hero's Mentor though, he was the one who actually took Itadori out. Showed him how to fight, passed wisdom onto him. Gojo sort of does that but it's far more indirect. They're basically two parts of one bigger Mentor system and now they're both gone. We already get to see some of that "How does he remember them" in this episode too. "Nanami would never let himself be lost to anger" and the "Proving" he's a Jujutsu Sorcerer with Nanami echoing it as well. It's also really valuable as a tool to have the mentor killed by someone personally important, either historically or through recent conflict, to the Hero and who serves as an anchor or important piece in the Big Conflict. Mahito is a young curse, powerful but young, and he's repeatedly engaged Itadori and both have grown and learned from it. As Mahito said, in a way they ARE each other's mirror on the opposite sides of a conflict. Not only that but all three of the other "Main" cursed spirits are dead. Gone. Poofed. Evaporated. Eviscerated. That means of the bad guys, of the Powerful Forces aligned to the enemy of the Hero the only one remaining is the one he has personal history and connection to. Who he just witnessed kill his mentor. This gives Itadori even more personal drive and connection to that important piece of the Powerful Force he's set against. So now we get to see going forward how that plays out, it's a big part of a Hero's development because it's the step when they're forced to acknowledge they're *alone*. That their choices are *theirs* and that they have to live with them and do the best they can. There's no more fallbacks. No more Big Man to come and save them. They're it. It's when they have to start to step up AS the hero and every story does it differently.

Marcin Adamczyk

Remember, they can always go and gather 7 dragon balls and resurrect some characters, i've seen in on another show

Darth Zayexeet

One thing I’ve learned is that you have close off your heart while watching Jujutsu Kaisen. It’s not like other shonen, it’s more merciless and cruel, but also realistic. No one has real plot armor here and the Bad guys are often gonna win or escape. You should still hold out hope tho, because most if not everyone gets their comeuppance in the end…

Darth Zayexeet

Neila you have to watch the rest of the season, you will be happy if you do.

Darth Zayexeet

Toji is an absolute badass, for me definitely the coolest character ngl

Darth Zayexeet

The GOAT Todo is my favorite character from the main cast, but I still like Gojo, Sukuna, Nanami etc. RIP to the great teacher who just wanted his beach house in Malaysia 🫡

Madison

One of the few anime episodes I simply can't bring myself to rewatch. Just too painful.
