Something I'm interested in! Sequel one is not that good. It's always like that when something original is good-ish its 95% chance if they do sequel it's worst. Thank you Neila! By the way is Slime incoming?

AnonymousZygarde

Oh my God. My actual Childhood dude! I love this movie so much!

DotakuArt

I love this movie so much, one of my favorites of all time. First time I saw it was as a kid in a drive-in theater and I've seen it about a dozen times since. "Today we are canceling the apocalypse!" is one of my favorite lines in any movie. XD Great reaction Neila!

over 10 years ago I made a Megas XLR intro amv with Pacific rim.. made me go back and look at it.... I was still a teen but still a fun watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=teIpd9FwG24 this is one of those feel good movies where the story was alright but I'm just here to see giant Robots kick ass. and thats exactly what I got watching this.

Another comment just to say. While the Sequel was Hot Garbage, there is an anime of Pacific Rim on Netflix called Pacific Rim: The Black. I remember it a little bit and I thought it wasn't too bad.

Mister Taffy

Not sure if Neila has ever played Portal, but the Robot lady voice is the actress who voiced GLADOS.

Zero

This is one of those movies that absolutely knows what it is and basically does a perfect job at it. There's giant robots fighting giant monsters and it's fucking awesome. I genuinely love the characters too, and kinda like that they played the male and female leads as somewhat more platonic. Genuinely one of my favorite movies, and one that I can always watch, because it's just a great time.

Unspoken

28:08 what he means is since all of the other mark three pilots are dead it makes him the first pick by default.

Lysraes

One of my fav movie ever, it's really fun entertainment imo. You might want to watch Madmax Furry Foad if you haven't yet 😉 Btw Neila saying she won't want to Drift in a man's mind sayin' she'll be scared of what would be in while we all know that all the scary crazy unspeakable things would be in her's 😏😂

Andrew

This one's great, it's a shame didn't make any more movies

Jdogzero Silverblade

i mean to be fair in reality the second kaiju would have sealed the fate of all others after. first is a random attack. a potential second would be globally monitored with satellites and once it appears they know the location of where it came from. then before the third appears we would have an extremely fortified and nearly impassable barrier. second the third kaiju comes up it will end up with 5 million holes in it and 3 missiles blowing its head off. the aliens wouldnt even get any data it would die so fast. but giant robots is cooler even if it is 1000x more expensive with less results

Jdogzero Silverblade

wonder what fuwamoco's robot would be. giant blue and pink dog with claws and a fluffy tail XD

AnonymousZygarde

Hey! For your information I'm turning 21 in September!

Jdogzero Silverblade

1 i dont think thats how nuclear reactors work. its not a super nuke XD. they would never use something that dangerous as a power source for something that big and important. 2 love how the characters think that the planet conquering race that clearly has done this a lot isnt going to just open another breach and invade again and again and again. i mean they destroyed at most 1 city half the size of new york.

Trystan

My childhood games/movies are older than you :') But yeah, Pacific Rim is amazing.

Neila Reacts~

i have played portal 1 and 2! and omg i didnt even notice that lol

Neila Reacts~

ye but if they werent dead, he wouldnt be the first pick

IvanPD2

15/10 movie i love asian girls, the little girl was so cute, my dream daughter right there

Darth Zayexeet

This movie reminds me so much of Neon Genesis Evangelion tho. If you replace the 2-pilot system with just a moody teen pilot and switch the Kaijus out for Angels you basically have it haha 😂

Skyler Palmer

She should watch Transformers if she loved this movie!

Ditto Demo123

Honestly, the fact that she wore a ripoff of Pacific Rim shirt was funny to me

Catzardo

There is no sequel
