Hi everyone! Erik here.

On Monday, December 14th, Bridget, Mary Jo, and I will record another episode of Talkin' RiffTrax: The Podcast. We'll be chatting about their tradition of releasing hilarious Christmas specials each year, such as  "Have a Mary Jo Christmas and a Bridget New Year" - AND we'll be answering your questions! (I realized that's something they haven't really done before, especially here on Patreon, so what better time like... the present? Eh?)

So, if you have an inquiry that you've always wanted to ask them, please leave it here in the comments. They'll read and answer their favorites, and the episode will be posted early next week.

Until then, ask away!

What is, in both your opinions, the most outdated holiday tradition? What should we replace it with? :)

Steven Marsh

The Mary Jo and Bridget riffs (especially the specials) have a genuine chemistry to them that creates what seem like joyous little unscripted moments. How much of that is "planned spontaneity," if that makes sense? (Like, do you have "0:11:00-0:11:30 — chat here" on the scripts?) And if those actually ARE tightly scripted moments, please don't shatter my illusions.

Rip McStudly

When we FINALLY get the long overdue B&MJ riff theme song, how should it go?

Jeff Kleist

You seem to have a particular zest for vintage shorts dealing with domestic subjects with a special attention to women’s roles in society, and when I see them come up on the store I purchase them immediately because they’re guaranteed to be great. What is it about them you find most quaint and amusing, and if you were to make a modern domestic short what would you do?

Sean-Casey King

I look forward to their Christmas Special every year! Maybe this is more of a question in general for them and the guys, but I'm wondering how Riffing works while remote - how has the processed changed, and how do they keep it sounding like they are in the same room when they clearly aren't.

John Judge

Will you be doing anymore of the "High School/College" musicals, whatever you call them. Always up to watching for Noel Neill.

Dave Gold

You two have known and worked together for quite a while now. What would you say is each other's greatest comedic strength - what about their comedy style gets you laughing?

McShoggoth

My question: “Isn’t Mike awesome?” End question

Geek Girl

I love the Bridget and Mary Jo Riffs! How would you describe your writing process? Is it collaborative or do you work alone and then come back together to develop a finished product?

Ellie

What is your favorite quintessentially Minnesotan thing and why? ~Ellie from Eden Prairie

DalGoda

Hello; First, I wanted to say I always look forward to seeing riffs done by the two of you. I am always fully entertained. Thank you. As for my question, how about: Since the pandemic has put the kibosh on live shows for a while, could there ever be a chance where the two of you join forces with the three fellows to perform a mass riff for some particularly deserving movie?

Ackmena

Really enjoy Mary Jo and Bridget riffs! No real question, just a quiet whine - any news on RenFest?

Jordan Jepson

Long time watcher, first time asker. I think this the question that could settle it all, popcorn balls or pickle pinwheels?

Ken Malinski

Question: What is the correct pronunciation of the word, "mancae"? As in, "The Porcellio laevis I purchased last month just gave birth to about 8 mancae."... Thank you..

Dan Gaffney

1) You guys are awesome. 2) Do you guys even rehearse / pre-write? It sounds like you guys grab a mic, sit on a couch and press record (in a super awesome way). it really seems like you guys just enjoy hanging out with each other riffing. It's great when you (the guys too) genuinely laugh at each other's jokes. Love ya gals!

Spiky Mikie

Just a rhetorical question. Why didn't you start riffing sooner? The first Sherlock Holms riff you ladies did had me falling out of my chair. And every one since. Thank you!

Joshua McGovern

In your own opinion, is the Christmas Tree from Charlie Brown Christmas really small and of no account?

Eric Wilmot

What female comedienne(s) have had the most influence on you?

Dominick

My wife and I love your unique take on films. Have you considered doing your own riff of a film the guys have already riffed? (The Bride and the Beast, for example.)

Suzi Eberhard

My grown up question: Did you consciously decide to do your riffing in a different style from the guys or did it evolve naturally? My not-grown up question (literally) - What part of your childhood holidays DON'T you miss?

David Mello

well, I would ask Bridget what made her decide to get back into Rifftrax after you were in a couple of things early in its run, including the Grey's Anatomy mp3? Also, what were your favorite TV Christmas memories, aside from Dean Martin singing holiday songs?

Pete Nicholls

If you could riff any movie ever, regardless of rights issues, what movie would it be? Also, how about adding a 3rd lady riffer to the team? My wife is HILARIOUS. Can we set up an audition?

RICHARD KIDD

You two seem to be having much more fun than the guys do. Can we get more of your riffs?

Jeff H Crowther Jr

Any luck in obtaining anything resembling that coat you both saw in the short "The Maturing Woman"?

Jimmy

Are there any plans in the future to mix up the riffers more instead of keeping it all men or all women? I would love to see how the dynamics change with different people working together.

Christopher Simar

Any chance of more skits? the Maturing Woman and Baby Jane inserts were hilarious.

Kristina G. Fisher

Have you ever accidentally learned something useful from one of the vintage shorts you've riffed?

David Williams

Have you thought about riffing 1 of the other Basil Rathbone Sherlock Holmes movies; none of them has a Christmas theme but The Spider Woman does have a not so Giant Spider Invasion?

Jason Joseph

I was actually wondering if there might be any marital/relationship advice from riffers and people married to them. Sorry if this is a weird question?

Allison Yerges

You two have spent years making us all laugh, but what makes you two laugh?

Mark Wynkoop

Mary Jo, I understand your father was the mayor of Circle Pines. In the spirit of the holiday season, my question is, what exactly is "bulk pick-up"?

Mike Ensing

You did such a great job riffing on the “Teenager” movies - which actors do you think look older - the ones in those flicks or the ones portraying the HIgh School students in “Grease”? (1978)

Gabriel Ricard

Are there any classic MST3K-era movies the two of you would enjoy doing? One of my favorite riffs is Angels Revenge. Alien from LA for example would be really, really cool.

Katharine Coldiron

No questions, just a huge thank-you and well-wish from me to them. <3

Sarah Daniels

I'm curious - Ladies, what are you favorite holiday movie/adult beverage pairings?

Doug DeFratus

Any chance you riff any more of the Teen Ager movies? My wife and I watch them multiple times a week! I even bought a book about the films.

Adorabrooke

Is it difficult being funnier than Kevin, Mike, and Bill? 😉😁🤣

Karl Hamann

I'd like to see the ladies' take on classic, or not-so-well-known animated Christmas shorts!

Darren Osten

Do you see a "Farm Family in COVID" short coming soon? Just curious how Pam and the gang are doing.

Lawrence Keber

Do you (or any of the other riffers) find yourselves riffing in your civilian lives, when watching TV/movies for pleasure, as opposed to for RiffTrax?

Karl Hamann

Just noticed, that's a kinda strange lookin' photo of you two, the link to this page! MJ's head, looks too big for those shoulders?!

Mark Cappelletty

Are you ever going to finish the "Teen Agers" series? I heard the next installment (SARGE GOES TO COLLEGE) has an, uh, "awkward" racial element, but would still love to see the series be finished.
