First, an update on The B Side - I mentioned it on the community chat the other day, but with the promotion having just really started for my trad pub book, my plan for The B Side is delayed. I'd planned to drop it as a release this week, and no longer can do that. I believe I should be able to in August, and if not, I'll release parts of it on here and then publish it sometime next year.
I will make a post here when I know, so you will know.
Second, I Knew You Were Trouble and The Game Changer are both nearing the end of their stories. Both are going to last throughout the remainder of 2026 for sure, but will be ending in 2027. So, I want to get an idea for what stories and characters we will be jumping into next.
An idea of what the stories entail -
The Moment of Truth - Blythe Kincaid and Emerson Merriweather from The Whole Truth - includes sharing a home, starting over in the wake of grief, exploring your sexuality, finding that someone who means everything to you already could - somehow - mean even more.
Long Story Short - As seen in ItLR, Marisa might have a little bit of a crush on Savannah Vandenberg. That's lasted for... a casual/chill 10+ years. Where is that sort of thing supposed to go, anyway? Except. Now Savannah is not married. And an 8 year age gap doesn't feel impossible when you're in your 30s.
Against All Odds - Madelyn Thompson has had to have it all figured out, at least as far as the public eye is concerned, since her early teen years, when her mother became the president. And, for the most part, she does have her shit together. In her humble opinion, having an enemy in Lydia Ward - the daughter of her mother's political rival in her last presidential campaign - is just the natural way of things. And... whatever might happen behind closed doors with Lydia is no one's business (it's not even something she will think about in the sane part of her mind)
One Fine Day - set in the backdrop of the 1960's. Alison Nowak is... making do, content with her life. Having dropped out of the final stretch of obtaining her journalism degree several years ago, she's not unhappy working as a secretary by day, spending her nights socializing regularly with her book club - a small, comfortable group of other like-minded women. But that's before she meets Victoria Keeton. Sharp-witted, confident, and enigmatic, Victoria works with Allie's boss, not only shaking up the status-quo at work, but completely up-ending her so-called contentedness.
You'll see that Hannah/Caroline au and the Riley/Gianna au don't have specifications - I have multiple ideas for both couples, so if either of them win and I go in that direction, there will be another poll in the future to decide which direction we'll go in
*please keep in mind that on a poll like this (ie not a single chapter/poll of the month poll, but one that I'll be writing a continuous story for, for at least a year or two), I do want to know what the vibe is and there's a good chance the winner will be the story I write next - but, it might not be (hey, I Knew You Were Trouble didn't win their poll back in the day, but I'd say it worked out!)
Whatever story is chosen will start to be posted in the beginning of 2027!
Also, this is all separate from The Iceberg Principle
