We've reached the end of the month, which means it's time for another episode of our community podcast! This time around, listen in as we report on the big, bad, boatload of Simpsons news brought to us by Comic-Con and D23. And, as always, we read and respond to your questions and comments from the last round of podcasts. It's all happening on Talk to the Audience, where we're very proud to make you a member of our very select group.

Seeing about a dozen animation and storyboard professionals get hired as Character Layout Artists on the movie is basically proof to me that the animation hand-drawn! Also, when the first movie released, Silverman had directed the three most recent THoH episodes (for seasons 16-18).

Frankly, I’m super excited for the Addams family episode and can’t wait to crack open my McDonald’s tape from 90s to watch.

Family Dog was my first archive search when I signed up to the Patreon, glad you're finally getting to it! Wrt Raul Julia, Coppola's One From The Heart with him, Terri Garr, and Harry Dean Stanton is worth checking out.

Guys. There was a time when Jurassic Park existed as a book, but not as a movie. I remember liking it a lot when I read it. I visualized things myself, and I missed seeing the little dinosaurs in the movie. But seeing the movie was an experience like no other. I remember reading the book fondly, but now I know not to go reread it.

Im glad you guys mentioned Bill Farmer still being out there doing it. I had nearly fallen for one of those fake celebrity deaths until you guys said something and it reminded me to look it up. He is inderd stil out there doing it.

I mentioned this on Blusky, but im so glad I watched the Jurassic Park movie as a kid before I read the book. All the stuff the movie left out would have made me upset

i’ll never understand the John Redcorn (character) glazing. he’s a piece of shit who, other than a few moments, values fucking his “friend’s” wife over fighting for custody of his son. edit to add: on the KotH POS scale: Buck is 1, Nancy is 2, Redcorn is 3

Good catch, Henry, for my urologist is indeed female.

Eyyyy thanks for reading my comment glad it was useful to you! I holidayed a lot in Cyprus as a kid with my parents as a shameful Brit abroad so it's a subject pretty close to my heart

Nasubi! After his run on Denpa Shonen he got small parts in Densha Otoko and Kamen Rider W, which is where I first saw him.

Hey Henry! Eat and enjoy whatever you like my friend. Given the incredibly narrow selection of foods that you will tolerate, if chewing on shrimp tails gives you pleasure, knock yourself out. I will say, please keep in mind, that the shells of shrimp (chitin), is more or less the equivalent of eating fingernails (keratin), albeit a bit thinner, and perhaps somewhat less crescent shaped. Hey, at least the seasoning on the shrimp clippings is probably a bit better I suppose? Enjoy!!!

I'm glad you said something Bob, you can also be a 46 year old and like Undertale and Deltarune and I'm glad I get to share these things with my daughter.

The Addams Family! Great movie and you’re right to want as much Raul Julia as we can get. I loved watching this behind the scenes feature featuring interviews with him and Meryl Streep in The Taming of the Shrew for Shakespeare in the Park in 1978. Listening to him talk at length as an actor made me appreciate his performances so much more. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDYLYuGa0Ek

I'll also point out our human bodies were not made to digest chitin so uh, be careful!

My local library also had a ton of audiobooks when I was a kid, which I think is part of what propped me for podcasts as an adult

I liked the Jurassic Park novels for how darker they get compared to the movie. I also wish they could've found a way to film the River scenes from the book. (I know these scenes technically would be used for other sequels, not the same for me). It's also interesting to see the more science aspects of the novel given a full understanding on how they work (for example why they used frog DNA and such. I also love that movie shows T-Rex ignoring a non moving target as an accepted fact while the book it's sheer dumb luck that grant was able to figure out. I will say this, give The Lost World a shot. It's got more Chaos Theories, and a cool scene at night with some camouflaging Carnotaurs.
