Less than a month you said you wanted this so much, and now you got it. THat power is kind of scary.

"I'm not jealous, I'm envious. Jealousy is when you worry someone will take what you have. Envy is wanting what someone else has. What I feel is envy."

So Julie Kavner DOESN'T do her recordings from the tub?

It's pretty hilarimous that the cropped Simpsons issue is actually trending NOW with Disney, as opposed to when it first happened years ago... Also you couldn't make me subscribe to Disney+ if you paid me.

Congrats on attending a table read! That will be something you remember even after you have forgotten lesser things like your first kiss or favorite pet. The cropped Simpsons sucks and is arguably worse than when Simpsons World launched. At least then there was the cushion of "Wow, I haven't seen these episodes airing anywhere except my DVD player in years!" but now it just feels lazy. There's a lot of grumbling on the internet about it so I feel like it will get noticed and eventually rectified. No one is standing up for Rescue Rangers though. My kids were watching it last night and I saw that it's been upconverted to HD, much to my surprise, and the picture has been horribly zoomed. It feels so claustrophobic and I hate it.

I’m getting misty eyed for some reason!

Congrats guys! I find that Netflix frequently hides the Continue Watching menu. A few times I've signed in and couldn't find it to save my life. Hulu is great for series because every time I sign in it shows me their recommendations and to the right there's the Continue Watching tab.

Where the hell is the old Muppet Babies cartoon? Oh, congrats guys and gal.

2026-09-07 23:00 Hey this was rad! You guys are on in a really great groove of wonderful content! The whole last month and half worth of episodes have been really fun and you can tell you guys are just having a blast making these! Waking Sleeping Beauty is rad! And the filmmaker Don Hahn is a really great dude, I got to chat with him when he screened the film here a few years ago. He’s a really great dude and I think if you reached out to him he’d talk to you. Don should have in all honesty should’ve have been given the job of head of Disney Animation, instead of John L, who I’m going to say is the reason Don left Disney animation — and why lilo & stitch Director Chris sanders left Disney — I’m sure more of these stories will start coming out. I’m really looking forward to his next film, Howard, about the legendary songwriter, Howard Ashmen, which Disney Plus has announced for the near future. But wait! I recommend the flip side to waking sleeping beauty, which is Dream on Silly Dreamer, which chronicles the end of Disney animation and the closing of the Florida Studio and the end of traditional animation. It was not made by Disney so it should be easily found. There’s also the Sweatbox, about the production of emperors new groove, made by Sting’s wife (which was part of his agreement to do the film) which highlights Disney at its most producer heavy and there’s scenes of the animators basically being bullied by execs— this film was buried by Disney so it’s harder to find.

Fun episode and I'm glad you guys got to attend a table read and have a blast doing it! This kind of behind-the-scenes stuff, much like the Patreon interviews, is always interesting to hear
