Before the summer begins, it's time for another episode of our monthly community podcast! In the Simpsons news we've got details on Alf Clausen's lawsuit, dates on the arrival of 4:3 aspect ratio, and more predictions coming true! Then we preview some cool stuff coming soon, share a couple of gifts we got during the month, and, as always, we respond to some of our favorite replies on Patreon. Listen now with or without glistening pork products!

Matt Bixler! Hello!

haven't listened yet, just wanted to say these episodes always have the choicest cover art

June is gonna be hype. That said, I’m gonna back Henry and Bob up and suggest everyone who’s on the Patreon right now gets the idea to pool their votes from Space Jam, wink wink, over to Cats Don’t Dance, wink wink.

You guys putting polls up a bit earlier than usual for the time being is perfectly fine with me, it's cool to have a heads-up on what will be talked about in the future, and if this makes it easier for you guys in the long run then that's great too

MENDOZABLE

HAHAHAHA I didn’t mean to put “Right” It was supposed to be “it felt wrong” I was in a hurry writing that cuz I was at work 😂😂😂

MENDOZABLE

I do prefer Cha-La over rock the dragon and it felt Wrong and too rushed, hell I prefer the instrumental faulconer themes more than Rock the dragon 😂 damn Iphones 🤣🤣🤣

I goofed on Kennedy being 70. He was 83 and a further comment corrected my correction. Point still stands I guess

On Disney+: The Little Mermaid series also falls to the same cropping issues as the other shows you cite. And from what I've heard Fox WAS looking into scanning the pre-edit film elements of the Simpsons in HD... only to find too much had been lost to make it viable. Also, hearing that Bob's working his way through Gravity Falls, I'd now love to see a new WAC episode on another, later episode. The thing about the Twin Peaks revival not being made for anyone is also ironic when you remember that, around the same time, so many companies were trying to cash in on the show as if it were some Strange Things-type nerd franchise thing, so you got shit like Laura Palmer's corpse as a Funko Pop.

Speaking of Elon Musk, the one bright spot of this lockdown and his frankly baffling breakdown around it is seeing all the tech bros I work with slowly turn on Musk and realize he’s just another billionaire asshole. I did sow the seeds with my anti-Musk propaganda before hand but hey, always nice to have a hand from the man himself.

Having my comment read has made my $10 tier worth it already!

Frank Grimes

post movie poll/polls in general earlier

"How Did This Get Played?" is great. I started listening to it thanks to you guys.

Also, can confirm: Also watched Space Balls a million times on HBO as a kid.

Dave Logan

Totally on board with earlier polls

Thanks for featuring my post about Toy Story 2, guys. ^_^ However, I never did find the footage of the Andi Peters documentary like you said. The posts I added were for other related material. Unfortunately, the contemporay, hour-long documentary "Andi Meets... Toy Story 2" has been lost to time, maybe forever. :O

Nina is seriously the best. How sweet.

If you think Rock the Dragon is bad, you've gotta hear the Canadian DBZ intro. It is one of the dumbest songs I've ever heard, it's hilarious.
