Another month has come and gone on the Talking Simpsons Network! As another month begins, that means it's again time to vote on the next film we'll be podcasting about. And as has become customary, the subject of our $10 premium podcast will be decided a few weeks earlier than we've done in previous years.

Currently, we're so far ahead in podcast recordings that we've already finished the next What A Cartoon Movie! (Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island), meaning that in October we can record our November movie podcast, and we can start as soon as you choose the subject for us!

If you're brand new to the Patreon, WELCOME, and also you should know that once a month we release the What A Cartoon Movie! podcast, an extra-long discussion about an animated feature film, exclusively for our $10 Patreon subscribers. And when we open up the voting for each month's subject, we want all the $5 subscribers to also have a chance to be heard, so those subscribers can help pick episodes they might enjoy down the line!

November is a special month for families, and what's more familial than British stop-motion animation? That's why we're going to be doing one of four classic films by the legendary Aardman Animations!

Your four plasticine choices are:

Chicken Run (2000), Aardman's first feature film that combines prison escape films with poultry and lots of British actors (and some Australian asshole)!

The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! (2012), the clever nautical adventure that's star-studded and home to the meme "Well, yes, but actually no!"

Shaun The Sheep Movie (2015), the film adaptation of the incredibly popular spin-off to A Close Shave that kids around the world love!

Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (2005), the horror throwback that brought the iconic British duo into their first and only feature-length film!

So please, make your Aardman choice known before the poll closes on the night of October 7! And be sure to vote as last month showed how close these polls can get! Thanks as always for your powerful support, and know that we're really looking forward to recording November's podcast ASAP!

C'mon folks this has gotta be W&G

Alex Irish

Or...Pirates! Band of Misfits as us American yanks call it

SomeBloke

W&G has all the benefits of experience from and none of the fucking Mel Gibson of Chicken Run, just saying folks.

PK

W&G plz :o)

Boyd Adkins IV

Am I the only one to vote for pirates? Well Yes, but actually no.

Tyler The Destroyer

It gonna absolutely be Wallace and Gromit but I had to go with chicken run! Watched it waaaaaaaaay more than Were Rabbit not saying its better, just closer to my heart ❤️

Frank Grimes

Its Wallace's time to shine, damnit

John-Charles Holmes

As much as I'd love to listen to the only podcast on earth that ever talked about the underrated Pirates movie, I have to see Were Rabbit finally win. The deck is stacked in its favor for once!

Alex Crumb

I remember seeing W&G in Edinburgh while studying abroad, and was blown away by how significant it was to my local friends there. The hype in the theater was equivalent to a Fast & Furious movie and I just did my best to keep up. Good thing Wererabbit ownz.

Matt Fish

I kinda wanna hear about Chicken run other than Mel I thought the film was super charming.

KaiserBeamz

Wallace & Gromit has been waiting in the wings for two years now. It deserves it's chance.

slimesiren

I'm just crackers for cheese! also since it probably won't win: i highly recommend shaun the sheep! the movie is fantastic and so is the sequel!

crystalhearts

Excited for this one! Reflecting on it, I have to say I definitely like Laika better. I could easily imagine a future poll of Coraline, Boxtrolls, Kubo and...maybe Missing Link, and I'm genuinely not sure which one I'd pick.

Paul

Looks like Shaun the Sheep has no chance, but it's been on my mind because of the meme where Hudeo Kojima tweeted a heartfelt review of it juxtaposed with him saying "I saw Tenet"

Charles Morgan

This feels like a consolation for Wallace and Gromit losing on other polls. I'm glad it's ahead, can't wait for an in-depthbreakdown of every awfully charming pun.

Tricia

I’d love a Chicken Run episode! Other than Mel Gibson it holds up pretty well, his character even gets smacked around quite a bit
