Major props to whoever picked Courage the Cowardly Dog. That was my first Quarantine-revisit show, and now it's my favorite Cartoon Cartoon, second to Ed Edd Eddy, so props to whoever picked that one too.

Lol u just revisited March talk to the audience out of curiosity. There was a lot of talk about how fast news was happening and just general fear. Haha it made me.nostalgic for that strange time

Nothing but claps for Henry. He is 100% right about the business strategy of these companies. I went to school for psych Neuro and economics One of the first Micro economic papers I had to write was about Amazon and this was back when they were multiple online retailers and I was shocked to find out that Amazon actually had never made any money or never posted any profit but it was OK because Jeff Bezos was independently wealthy already so he was able to just operate at a loss forever and ever and I remember sitting in class going soon enough they’re going to be the only people around and they are going to cause a big fucking problem and that’s what’s happening so I don’t live in California or in a state where we have propositions are referendums but if you do I think you should take Henry’s advice and vote against that bullshit

I hope it works out for you bob. I was trying to get into Canada on a work visa myself when I lost my job pre covid and then covid happened so that pipe dream is forever gone. The fortunate thing is that once the pandemic is done if it’s ever done I might still have a shot because my coworker who has similar education and credentials to me but is not an American also has a permanent residency in Canada and he described the process through which he went and what somewhat easy but we are also as bob said stem people, but it’s funny if you think young scientists and engineers get 6 figures. Anyway good luck bob.

For what it's worth I did stop watching in Season 14. I don't remember anything appalling ala S11 that stopped me from watching: just a sea of fatal blandness that made me say, "Yeah I think I'm done with the Simpsons."

Also, people might expect me to be massively jealous that *I'M* not on a Looney Tunes video game podcast, but fuck no, Ian is literally, again, one of the only guys I'd want to hear from on this subject.

Bob, not to be a downer but as a resident of the Province you’re hoping to visit, “Canadian freedom” might be over stating it a bit as our top public health officials are starting to ramp up restrictions again. That said best of luck crossing the border! Pro tip just say you’re trying to go to Alaska, apparently we just let you right in.

Ed, Edd n' Eddy, yesss

Can't wait for you guys to cover Bubblegum Crisis' first episode. It has one of the best tone setter of an opening montage where among the shots of cyberpunk architecture are brief shots of our main characters working at a lingerie store and attending aerobics class.

See... I know this is dark... like really dark. But when I saw the Trump voting bit in the episode and I saw the words scrolling past my first thought was actually "Are these the names of people who've died of Covid!?" and it wasn't! But if you wanted it to be edgy that would've done it.

I'm not in any way involved with the movie but since we're all in the mood for Halloween & horror stuff, as Bob mentioned some of the stuff he's been watching, I'd recommend people give Bit (2019) a watch, it's a fun vampire flick with some actual progressive messaging to it, headlined by Nicole Maines from Supergirl. It's a horror movie with a trans lead and that's rad as hell. -- I'm bummed to hear the struggle Bob & Nina are going through in trying to just see each other again this year. A couple of friends of mine are having a similar forced long distance situation because of the COVID situation and I know it's been shitty for them, so hopefully Bob's three week Canada visit will finally get to happen and it won't be nearly as long between seeing each other next time. -- On a lighter note, November's podcast line-up sounds AWESOME, and personally I'll be throwing my hat in to vote for World's Finest on the next movie poll, because that movie FUCKS. The Deep End did an episode talking about it (and Batman Forever) a few months back that prompted me to rewatch it (and then watch through the bulk of Superman TAS that I hadn't seen before) and it's so fucking good. I really wish their live-action meeting could've been anywhere near as good as that is.

Yay, my comment got mentioned! I've also noticed the "ass****" censoring when the Angry Video Game Nerd pointed it out in his Action 52 review.

There's an anti-Nader joke coming in a couple of years when he's meeting with the Republicans and Mr. Burns tells him he's already done enough for them. I didn't remember the joke, but it came up in a recent Frinkiac search. So, we can look forward to that in Season 13!

Good luck Bob and Nina. I’ve been trapped (well I want to be here overall) in the U.K. since lockdowns occurred while family deal with loads of crisis back home. My partner is a Serbian Greek and has been similarly stuck but at least we have each other.

One Cut of the Dead is such a damn good time. Highly recommended and don’t read anything about it before diving in.

I appreciate you guys reading my comment. One thing I want to add, I think Bob is spot on about Susan dying in Seinfeld being a primer for Maude’s death not having as much punch. I remember seeing Susan’s demise day one and it was a big shock but something that we eventually all just shrugged at. And good luck getting to Canada, Bob. It’s not heaven but at the very least our elections are short.
