Hey everyone!

I wanted to share a very early preview of something big I’ve been building behind the scenes: MapForge.

MapForge is a module that lets you create battlemaps directly inside Foundry VTT, fully integrated with walls, lighting, and support for multiple levels. This preview is just a small glimpse, the module is still under heavy development, and a lot more features are coming.

This post is public so everyone can take a look, give feedback, and follow the progress. If everything goes as planned, the alpha release will be available in the next few days for supporters on the Inner Circle tier.

I’m sharing this early because feedback at this stage really matters. Seeing how you react, what excites you, and what you’d love to see next helps shape the final version of MapForge.

I Built a Battlemap Creator INSIDE Foundry VTT (MapForge Preview)

Today I’m sharing a very early sneak peek of a massive module I’m building for Foundry VTT: MapForge. MapForge lets you create battlemaps directly inside Foundry VTT, fully integrated with walls, lighting, and multi-level maps. Think tools like Inkarnate, Dungeon Alchemist, or Dungeondraft… but native to Foundry. ⚠️ This is still a work in progress. An alpha version will be released soon to my Patreon supporters on the Arcane Circle tier, with access expanding to other tiers shortly after. 🗺️ Credits: The maps shown in this preview use assets from the wonderful Forgotten Adventures. If you want early access, updates, and more premium Foundry VTT modules: 👉 patreon.com/WandAndWidgets And if you enjoy tools that push Foundry further, don’t forget to subscribe. More modules are coming.
