Hey everyone - today is a huge day for Wand & Widgets. This is the biggest module I’ve ever built: a full map creation studio inside Foundry VTT v13 - but fully integrated with Foundry’s walls, lights, mood, and more.
FEATURE HIGHLIGHTS
Package Integration — import the packages you already own directly into MapForge
Floor Painting — paint floors with textures, patterns, and blending
Path Drawing — create roads, rivers, and paths with seamless textures
Wall Tools — automatic wall syncing and door placement
Light Placement — quick light placement with presets
Scene Lighting — control ambient lighting, atmosphere, and mood
Multi-Level / Prefabs / Flatten Map — functional in Alpha, still being polished (known issues)
⚠️ This is an Alpha. This period is crucial for polishing the experience and crushing bugs. If you join the Alpha, your name will be immortalised inside the module in a special thank-you section.
The Alpha is currently on Patreon because that’s how I’m funding development and keeping the update/support loop fast while things move quickly. If you jump in, use it like you would in a real session and tell me what feels great and what breaks - that feedback is what gets us to a rock-solid 1.0.

5. Make sure to also enable the required modules: lib-wrapper, Levels, and Wall Height
✅ Step 3 - Import your assetsMapForge currently supports importing Dungeondraft asset packs (.dungeondraft_pack).If you don’t have packs yet, creators like Forgotten Adventures and Tom Cartos offer free options to get started.
✅ Step 4 - Open MapForgeAfter enabling MapForge + the required modules, you should see the MapForge icon (hammer) inside Tile Controls.
Open it → click the “+” Import Asset Pack button → import the packs you want.
From there: build, test, break things (gently), and report anything weird.
I’ll be fully focused on fast, frequent updates during the Alpha. The goal is a strong, feature-rich 1.0 release.
