HEADS UP: MapForge v0.2 is now available! This version (0.1.4) is really outdated at this point. Version 0.2 brings massive performance improvements (GPU painting!), tons of bug fixes, and cool new features like the Export Tab and Edge Shadow tool. Unless both v0.2 and v0.1.5 are giving you trouble and you need a last resort fallback, you should grab the latest version here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/mapforge-0-2-148336995

Hey everyone - keeping this post up for historical reasons and as an emergency fallback.

This was the original MapForge alpha release from December 2024. A lot has changed since then! If you're just discovering MapForge now, please start with v0.2 instead. You'll have a much better experience.

Why would anyone download this version? Honestly? Probably no good reason at this point. But if somehow both v0.2 and v0.1.5 are broken for your specific setup and you need something that works while I fix things, this is here. Consider it the "break glass in case of emergency" option.

How can one use forgotten adventure dungeon draft packs? I have rhe actual Objects A and Objects B and only Objects B is uploading with the Asstes Manager. The others are probably to big due to 4GB size. Is there a way to add them there manually with out the manager?

Are you using Firefox? If so, try switching to chrome!

I use a chrome based browser. So that is not the issue. But I'll try another one later. I uploaded the large packs (both 4GB) via SSH to my server. But if I click add assets he only allows for selecting local files of the client. Do I really need to re-upload the files that way?

I went back to the old FA 3.0 pack, which work - the newer bigger ones 3.5 integration seem to cause problems loading.
