Exalted Scenes 6.0 is LIVE! (Patreon)

I am so incredibly happy to finally share this release with you all. I'm honestly still in shock at how transformative this version is going to be for my own games, and I absolutely cannot wait to premiere it at my table this coming weekend!

What's New in v6.0

Hero Mode & Theater Mode: A Visual Novel-style display mode with transparent sprites and a GM-only shot strip to build fast plan/contra-plan swaps for dialogue scenes.

Free Composition Mode: The GM can drag characters freely on the scene during broadcast, creating cinematic compositions with scale and flip controls.

Deep Audio Integration: Complete overhaul with Narrator Jukebox, bringing multi-track soundtracks, up to 8 ambience layers with per-layer volume, and quick-access soundboard sounds.

Player YouTube Requests: Players can now suggest YouTube tracks directly from the music picker, complete with GM approval toasts that auto-add the track to the playlist.

Visual Overhaul: 10 new premium color themes, full-theme visual coverage across the module, and four different character portrait shapes (Circle, Rounded Square, Square, Portrait).

Quality of Life: Bulk add cast from character folders, one-click duplicate for scenes and characters, and configurable native Foundry keybindings.

Guys, v6.0 is highly transformative and introduces a massive series of significant changes to the module - you know how it goes. Over the next few days, I’ll be entirely focused on pushing hotfixes for the issues that will inevitably pop up. I’m putting 100% of my focus into this so we can have a beautifully stable version in time for our weekend games!

This update was a true labor of love. If your tolerance for bugs is on the lower side, it might be best to hold off and wait for one or two hotfixes before downloading, they should be rolling out in the coming days. <3

How to Install

Remove your current version of Exalted Scenes from your modules folder.

Download the .zip file attached below.

Extract it into your Foundry Data/modules/ folder.

Important: make sure the extracted folder is named exactly exalted-scenes.

Restart Foundry and enable the module.
