Hey everyone, just as expected, here comes the first hotfix for Exalted Scenes 6.0.For this one, I focused mostly on the bugs you reported, but I also tried to sneak in a few of the requested features, especially the QoL ones that I could tackle quickly.

Here’s the changelog for this version:Exalted Scenes 6.1 - HOTFIX - Changelog

Bug Fixes

Fixed Free Composition in Hero Mode. Flip, name display, controls, and free positioning now behave correctly across token, half-body, and full-body characters.

Fixed renamed character images not being saved. Changes made in Hero Images and import review now persist correctly.

Fixed stretched library cards when only a few items are visible. Scenes and characters now keep a natural height.

Fixed character popup positioning near screen edges. Emotion Picker, Border Style, and GM panel pickers now stay inside the viewport.

Fixed the permissions editor for large player lists. The window is now resizable and the player list has its own scroll area.

Fixed Theater Strip layout issues. Shots no longer overlap, previews keep the right height, and scene thumbnails now reflect the real composition more accurately.

Fixed portrait import compatibility with modules like Media Optimizer. Exalted Scenes now uses the final uploaded file path instead of assuming the original one.

Fixed the layout of the quick Foundry Actor Import window. Cards now keep portrait, name, and status properly contained.

Fixed hero sprite selection in broadcast. Click, drag, and scroll now respect the visible alpha of the image instead of the full rectangular bounds.

Fixed context menu creation inside folders. New scenes and characters now get created in the currently open folder.

Fixed Cast Bar behavior when adding characters. The add menu now stays open so multiple characters can be added in sequence.

New Features

Added bulk scene import. GMs can now import multiple backgrounds at once from files or folders, review them, rename them, remove items, and create everything in batch.

Added quick Foundry Actor import for Exalted Scenes characters. GMs can import multiple actors, review names, use portraits as base tokens, and optionally inherit permissions.

Added zoom and tilt controls to portrait reframing. Each emotion can now be adjusted with live preview.

Added a toggle to hide character names in broadcast. This can now be controlled from the character’s Identity tab.

Added multi-select in the library with Ctrl/Cmd+click, Shift+click, Esc to clear, and group drag to move multiple items at once.

Added default scene settings for new scenes. GMs can now define the starting preset, display mode, shape, and size for newly created scenes.

Adjusted the Broadcast audio panel so the GM can drag and reposition it. The window can now be moved out of the way of the player list and keeps the last position you chose during use.Changelog 6.1.1

Fixed character dragging while Theater Mode is active. GMs can once again reposition the main scene cast without the controls getting intercepted by Theater Strip previews.

Fixed Edit Scene from the library right-click menu. Right-clicking a scene now properly opens the Scene Editor without requiring a prior inspector selection.

mproved the root library layout. Folders and cards now stay cleanly separated in the grid, the list has proper bottom spacing, and the secondary import button no longer spills into the preview area when the inspector is open.

The Final Artificer

Great update. I just want to point out that the color theme in the options influences the scene, I wanted a dark background, but I noticed that my image was somewhat darker, especially around the edges. I use fit contain and it is immersion breaking to choose a bright color theme just so the images retain their brightness

Wand & Widgets

Good catch. I’ll add it to the list for the next hotfix. <3

Great thank you! In the meantime for anybody out there with the same problem, I found that the theme harbor is a good compromise, not bright, but has less of an effect on the images!

hey hey! thanks for the update, it fixed a few things I was wanting. One critical feature that I can't seem to find is the ability to loop sounds using the Narrator's Jukebox integration. I see I can loop it directly from the Jukebox interface, but what I would like is to set a sound/music/etc to loop in the exalted scene settings, or to simply use the default settings from jukebox. Otherwise, I keep having to replay each sound every time it stops. Thanks again!

It's all good. it was my mistake, I'll fix that in the next update. It is 13 verified.

at this point with you rmodules and updates I believe it would be easy for people to look for hat they wanted if there was a master post or one for each module

Wand & Widgets

The weird part is that I have a pinned post for that, but you not the first to complain about it. I don't know why it doesn't show on the top for you.:/

I did find it later, patreon is just messing with us XD
