Welcome to SessionFlow 1.0. This is a monumental milestone. For this update, we went back to the drawing board and touched every single feature, panel, and widget in the module. Everything has been redesigned from the ground up to be more beautiful, more intuitive, and infinitely more powerful.

Whether you are preparing your next campaign or running a high-stakes session, SessionFlow 1.0 delivers a completely upgraded, premium, and seamless experience for GMs and players alike.

The Great Widget Redesign (Every Widget Upgraded!)

We promised that everything changed, and we meant it. Every single interactive tool on your canvas has been enhanced with our new "1.0 responsive layout style" to look cleaner, adapt perfectly to narrow sidebars, and blend naturally into dark interface panels.

The Bones (Ultimate Dice Cockpits): Now automatically detects if you are playing D&D 5e or Pathfinder 2e! It provides custom character cockpits to track HP, AC, skills, and spells on the fly, tests a beautiful 3D dice preview powered by Dice So Nice, and introduces interactive Roll Requests to target specific players or the whole party.

The Chronicle & Scribe: The Chronicle now defaults to an immersive 3D reader for a true diary feel. The Scribe features a new GM review desk that tracks player participation statistics and allows one-click copying for session summaries.

Atmosphere & Weather: The Day/Night widget now features gorgeous animated Sky Bars with rich layers for mist, rain, snow, and temperature. GMs can even schedule dynamic weather changes in advance.

Clocks, Notes, & Groups: Progress Clocks received new custom styles (Arcane Runes, Threat Levels, and 3D Phase stacks). Quick Notes feature custom color palettes and alert pulses. The Portrait and Fellowship widgets have been completely overhauled with richer cards, folder filtering, and clearer health states.

Introducing the Star Atlas (A Brand New Player Destiny Tracker)

The old Compass Rose is officially gone, completely reborn as the Star Atlas. This is a massive, immersive feature that your players will experience for the very first time!

14 Unique Constellations: Players can now explore a massive catalog of 14 thematic constellations. The Hammer, Broken Sword, Tower, Fox, and Chalice, The Wolf , Serpent, Phoenix, Raven, Spider, Dragon, Stag, Leviathan, and Mask.

Personal Destiny Arcs: Each constellation features its own unique sky backdrop, beautiful custom crests, dedicated task icons, and deep personal progression arcs.

Ultimate GM Freedom: GMs can build, duplicate, edit, and publish their own entirely custom constellations directly from the built-in builder, assigning unique tasks and artwork.

The Agreement Ledger: When players accept a destiny reward, the system posts a beautiful summary to the chat and logs it into a permanent agreement ledger for the GM to track over time.

Dedicated Scene Audio Console

Audio has evolved from a simple canvas widget into a full-scale creative mode.

Full Music Workspace: A dedicated toolbar button opens a massive audio-console layout with distinct, color-coded tabs for Music, Ambience, and Soundboards.

The Cue Deck: Save complete audio mix presets. Recall your perfect background music, weather sounds, and special effects playlists instantly with a single click.

Total Workspace Revolution (Fast Prep, Clean Play)

We destroyed interface clutter so you can focus entirely on your game.

Custom GM Workspaces: Create up to nine always-available custom workspaces. Give them unique names, icons, colors, layout directions, and dedicated keyboard shortcuts to switch themes instantly.

The GM Panels Dock: A smart new control hub that can be positioned anywhere on your screen. It automatically fades away when your mouse leaves, letting you manage your game table without covering the maps or tokens.

Smarter Core Panels: The Session, Storyline, and Beat Details panels have a beautiful, calmer layout. Deep statistics and totals are hidden behind optional dropdown bars to prevent visual overwhelm.

Seamless Grid Building: Placing widgets is now a joy. Enjoy smooth click-to-place mechanics, grid guides that only appear when moving objects, snapping controls, and marquee multi-select (Ctrl/Cmd) to edit groups of widgets simultaneously.

Key Quality of Life & Critical Fixes

A massive rework requires absolute stability. We squashed old bugs and optimized the system:

No More Overlapping Windows: Foundry file pickers and journals opened from SessionFlow will now always stay reliably above your panels instead of getting trapped behind them.

Smart Map Broadcasting: Sharing a map now perfectly mirrors the GM’s current zoom and pan settings instead of forcing an annoying full reset on the players' screens.

Safety Nets for GMs: The Beat Details panel will now block navigation if you try to close it with an open form, ensuring your brilliant, unsaved notes are never lost by accident.

Bulletproof Backups: Automated backups have been fully modernized to include all new 1.0 features, custom constellations, player data, and campaign history safely.

Honestly, the modules are pretty system-agnostic. To be completely transparent, a few of them have a PLUS version if you're playing Exalted (with my personal modules, so that hardly counts hahaha), Dungeons & Dragons, or PF2E. A good example is The Bones, which has a more feature-rich version for those systems. But outside of a few exceptions like that, they should fit pretty much any system like a glove. Most of what they do is help GMs run better games regardless of the specific ruleset being used. What you're looking for, then, is for the modules that currently offer extra features for certain systems to also support those kinds of features for Tormenta? If that's the case, could you point me toward a good resource where I can get more familiar with the official rules? I'd be happy to take a look.

Amazing! During session 0 one of my players said he was going to buy foundry for his own games, citing some of the features of your modules. :) I would love if, in a future update, you could have the "pin as the default panel" and the "next scene" and "previous scene" buttons use keyboard shortcuts. Being able to quickly switch with a keyboard press during a session would really help!

Every time I start to look at this I get overwhelmed with how many options there are and I shut it down and uninstall it. I'm really excited and it looks fantastic but maybe you can come out with training videos that break it up? I don't have a lot of free time and to spend a whole day trying to figure out this module isn't on my list. Even though I wish it could be <3

It’s huge, Gabriel... I know. But it was built with a lot of love, and while it can definitely feel overwhelming at first, give it a little time and I think you’ll start to see the amount of care that went into the UX, the integrations, and all the little things designed to make the entire suite easier to use. That said, I completely understand. That first impression can be brutal. I was actually supposed to release a video today (truth be told, it was going to be more of a promotional announcement video), but I got hit with a pretty nasty flu... and you know how men are when they get sick, right? Hahaha. But leave it with me. I’m going to make a video showing myself using all three modules to prepare a session for my campaign from start to finish, and I’m going to dedicate it to you, alright? And if you’re okay with it, I’d even love to use your comment in the video to help explain the context and why I felt that video needed to exist.

Just got these today, as I have been prepping for a new campaign. Am curious about the star map feature. Currently when a player clicks "Notify GM", nothing happens. Or am I just blind and am not seeing specifically where the notification comes through to?

Also, how do the players make multiple pages in the Chronicle? And does it not save the chronicle as a journal entry? Because at the moment if I open the diary in a players view, it has one page to edit with no buttons or ui for additional pages, and if that widget gets deleted, so does the chronicle.
