Make Foundry feel like your world

I think this is the moment Your Flavor finally became the module I always wanted it to be.

Over the last few days, we rebuilt the entire experience. Every tab was revisited. Every major screen was reorganized. The module is clearer, faster to understand, more responsive, and much more comfortable to use.

It now has a warm parchment interface framed in walnut and antique gold. It feels less like a settings window and more like a proper visual workshop for your game.

But the biggest change goes far beyond the module itself.

Your Flavor can now transform the visual identity of Foundry with a single click.

A new generation deserves a new number

This is Your Flavor 5.0.

There are releases that add a long list of isolated features, and there are releases that change what a module feels like to use. This is the second kind.

The module may still have the same purpose at heart, but nearly every part of the experience has been reconsidered. The interface is completely different. The workflow is clearer. The previews are easier to read. The controls are better organized. Entire parts of Foundry can now be themed together in seconds.

That is why this is not just another 4.x update. It is a new generation of Your Flavor.

Change the atmosphere of Foundry in one click

Your Flavor 5.0 includes 43 complete Foundry themes.

Choose a theme and the module coordinates the interface around it. Navigation, controls, the macro bar, sidebar, chat log, player list, windows, the pause screen, and many smaller interface details can all become part of the same visual language.

The change is fast enough to become part of the session itself.

If the party enters an ancient forest, the Game Master can choose a theme that feels earthy, old, and mysterious. If the group reaches a vampire's castle, the entire interface can shift into something darker and more dramatic. When the mood changes again, another theme is only one click away.

There are themes for different genres, colors, moods, and worlds, with dozens of options ready to explore.

A completely rebuilt home

The new Overview gives you a clear starting point every time you open the module.

Chat, Rolls, Cards, and Configuration are presented as direct destinations, while search helps you jump to a specific control without hunting through every page.

Your current changes are easier to understand, and sharing a complete visual setup is always close at hand.

The goal was simple: you should always know where you are, what you can change, and where to go next.

80 built-in chat styles

Chat remains one of the deepest parts of Your Flavor, but it is much easier to explore now.

You can browse 80 ready-to-use styles, filter them by character, class, race, theme, and tone, then preview the result before applying it. The gallery makes it easy to compare different directions, while the customization controls let you take any style and make it your own.

You can shape backgrounds, borders, text, frames, portraits, spacing, opacity, and effects. You can create something subtle for everyday conversation, something elegant for an important NPC, or something completely theatrical for the villain.

You can also save your own results as reusable flavors and move them between worlds through import and export.

Rolls that feel like the moment

The Rolls tab gives every part of a roll its own place.

Formula, dice terms, totals, tooltip details, breakdowns, critical results, successful outcomes, failures, and fumbles can all be styled with a live preview beside the controls.

You can make a critical result feel celebratory, make a failure immediately recognizable, or bring every roll into the same visual identity as the rest of your campaign.

The module supports D&D 5e rolls, PF2e rolls, and generic roll messages.

Cards that belong to the same world

Item, spell, and ability cards can be styled with the same care.

Titles, body surfaces, buttons, tables, chat framing, and system-specific card elements are organized into clear groups, with a single Draft preview that stays readable while you work.

Your Flavor includes coverage for D&D 5e item and ability cards, plus PF2e action and spell cards.

The Foundry Shell workbench

Foundry Shell is where the scale of this release becomes most visible.

Instead of treating the interface as one large block of color, Your Flavor exposes the areas that actually shape the experience:

1. Global theme

2. Scene Navigation

3. Token Controls

4. Macro Bar

5. Sidebar

6. Chat Log

7. Player List

8. Windows

9. Pause

Across these areas, Your Flavor maps 184 individual controls.

That means a complete theme is only the beginning. You can start with one of the 43 presets, then refine the exact surfaces, borders, text colors, states, opacities, and interface details that matter to you.

The live previews make those decisions much easier to understand, and stock or inherit options let Foundry keep its original behavior wherever you do not want an override.

Icons that finally belong to the design

Icons are no longer an afterthought.

The new Icons tab gives you a guided three-step workflow:

1. Choose an interface area

2. Choose the icon you want to replace

3. Choose its new visual

There are 215 curated Font Awesome choices across 8 interface areas. Search, filters, recommendations, previews, saved values, and draft values make it easy to experiment without losing track of what is currently active.

You can make the interface more readable, more thematic, or simply more personal.

Configuration without the anxiety

A visual module can accumulate a lot of choices, so Configuration was rebuilt to make those choices safer.

You can review behavior and access options, export a complete visual setup, import one into another world, create backups, restore previous states, and reset only the scope you actually want to reset.

The module also includes Diagnostics with live health checks, selector coverage, icon discovery status, safe card fallbacks, and recovery tools.

Your work should feel creative. Protecting it should feel straightforward.

Built for real tables

Your Flavor 5.0 supports Foundry VTT 13 and 14.

It is designed to work in new campaigns and existing worlds. You do not need to rebuild a world or commit to a complete makeover. You can apply one theme, adjust one part of the interface, style one character, or gradually shape everything over time.

The module is there when you want it, and it stays out of the way when you do not.

Thank you

Your Flavor has grown far beyond the little idea that started it, and this version feels especially meaningful to me.

Every message, every screenshot, every strange edge case, every suggestion, and every person who decided to support my work helped this module become what it is now.

Even though Your Flavor is free for everyone, your support here gives me the time and freedom to keep building tools like this, to keep refining them, and to keep trying ideas that are a little unusual, a little ambitious, and hopefully useful at your table.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for believing in Wand & Widgets. And thank you for helping me make Foundry a little more beautiful, one world at a time.

I cannot wait to see what you create with it.

With love,

Gabú

Another amazing build, and...it's the little touches that make your modules truly a pleasure: in the settings, I laughed out loud for real at, "...back to stock if your UI experiment escaped the lab."
