July Update 2023!! (Patreon)

Good afternoon, everyone! C.H. Darkstrider here with the latest update! I know a lot of people are chomping at the bit for some news and want to know about the latest chapter releases. Not to mention folks are wondering about what's to come. Well, buckle up everyone, as we're going for a ride!Firstly, I wanted to address the lack of chapters that should have been released. Especially that of my first story, Project Prometheus. Well allow me to alleviate those worries by telling you instead of a double chapter of Tales of the Wastelander this month, there will be a double chapter of Project Prometheus! Yeah, you read that right! This month, it will be a double chapter of Project Prometheus dropping for everyone!!Next, I wanted to bring up the bit about me pushing things back again, as I have. I want to thank everyone for being patient with me about that, as it wasn't an easy decision to make. Facing the potential of not meeting deadlines is an awful feeling, but if I burn myself out, then there may not be stories showing up for months! I'm certain that no one here wants that, especially when there's so much to do! Hell, between the day job, family and writing, it's a wonder I get anything done at all!I know I probably sound like a broken record at this point, but being a one man show isn't easy. There are days where I just want to say screw the job, walk away from it and write full time. But because of the responsibilities I have, it's not an option. However long it takes, is how long it will be before I can pack my job in and do this full time! I eagerly anticipate and work towards that goal everyday! It just sucks that it's taking me more than six years to reach that level.Finally, there is the matter of the additional rewards and perks that come with subbing to the higher tiers here. I have been remiss in providing such goodies and I have been working on correcting that! I only hope that I can find the time between all my responsibilities and obligations to provide said goodies for those in the upper echelons of my subscribers/patrons.Well, that about does it for this update!
