Clarity Update (Patreon)

Two complaints were repeated several times by some players:

• 1) "Elevator's transition is too long."
• 2) "I can't find where to hang the sign."

In the case 1, the transition was always skippable, just pressing Enter to skip the waiting periods in the elevator.

As some people did not realize this, we realized that a little more clarity was needed in this regard. Because of that, we decided to include a subtitle to make it clear that this scene is skippable.

In the case 2, we thought the dialogue with Beatrice would make it clear where to hang the sign, as she says it should be hung above the bar's entrance door. But, to our surprise, some people got lost anyway. Because of this, we decided to make it very obvious where to hang the sign by showing a shadow of the sign over the place, even if it's not already hanging there.

We hope that these small improvements to the clarity of the game, in addition to the tooltips, will help players who are new and feeling a bit lost.

We're still working on the complete implementation of the tooltips, as it's the most labor intensive, but the work is already well under way, so look forward to the new patch, containing the fixes for the issues in the first version, soon.
