Fate/Fool Chapter 25 (Patreon)

The Gate of Skye was... Far different from the Dream Walk I used to get to the Shadow Isles. It was a controlled rainbow swirl of reality. An imitation of the Nordic Gods' very own Bifrost, but still working despite the Age of the Gods being lost in the past.
"Shit! Fucking, teacher didn't account for my Six Eyes!" I cursed to myself as tunnelling through space and time for me with my Six Eyes and to say nothing of myself being a Magician at Sequence Seven of the Fool's Pathway.
To say the least, the ride was bumpy. And no one wanted to ride a bumpy spatial passageway that crossed time and space and could veer off into alternate timelines and other nonsense!
But after I was feeling like my stomach was about to be pulled out of my chest through my mouth with the spatial pressure that was pushing through the thin layer of Limitless I was using to protect myself.
In but a split moment, I was shot out of the Gate of Skye passageway like I was shot out of a cannon.
Thankfully... I was shot straight forward and not spinning so with a shout I was able to reinforce my body before I stabbed Gáe Síorfhás into the thick snow I was flying past with a loud crashing noise of ice being shattered as the spear was dragged through the ground.
The recoil of my spear dragging through the ground finally helped slow me down, even as I held myself up in the air with my spear impaled into the ground as I finally came to a stomp.
With a crackle of broken ice, I finally set my feet down, and with Gáe Síorfhás resting on my shoulders, I looked around at the seemingly endless fields and mountains of ice surrounding me before I said in confusion.
"Where the flipping fuck did she drop me off? Am I in Russia or something? How many mountain and completely frozen over plains regions are there in the world?" I muttered as I frowned at the truly biting chill that howled with the wind.
Still, that wasn't the most important bit...
As magical energy hit my soul as Tamamo's voice screeched into my ear. "Maaasssttter! My darling! Call me to you nowwwww! I missssed you soooo much!" She all but wailed into my mind.
"Time to face the music." I said helplessly before I held up my right hand with my command seals flaring on my hand as they had long healed and reformed on my hand with how Scathach didn't actually cut the connection between us.
Only merely sealed it to an extent so Tamamo didn't interfere with her training.
"Tamamo, come to me!" I commanded with my command seal, and with a crackle of spatial energy, I winced as my Command Seals burned as the 'perfect wife' tore through reality and my face was smashed with soft tits as Tamamo manifested in a flying spear of crying fox girl action
"Waaagh! You left me all alone! I had to kill so many stupid, smelly and disgusting mages! I almost flipped that stupid mages outhouse over when they tried to seal me away!" Tamamo cried as I laid on the ground with her, lightly' punching my chest as she laid atop me.
But I didn't blame her. I just sighed helplessly as I coaxed her via a hand petting her fox ears. "I am sorry, Tamamo, I am here now, and I won't go away again."
There was a heavy pause as a dense magical energy melted the ice below me as she slowly looked up with gleaming gold slitted eyes as a heavier voice rang out from her. "Hoh... Will your word be kept? What is this foul smell of another woman on you I detect?"
My face twitched as I could see clear madness in Tamamo's eyes as she straddled my waist. And in that moment, I knew. That if I fucked up my words now, I could be facing Berzerker Tamamo.
"I had to live beside the God Killer Scathach in her castle alone with her. It's not like she had servants or anything." I replied honestly.
Tamamo's gleaming eyes searched my own before she blinked, and that heavy divinity she had was wiped away from my senses as she snuggled up into me with a hysterical giggle. "Haha of course! Tamamo would never be betrayed after all!"
I could only mechanically pat her back as I mentally screamed all the while.
After a moment of that, however. Tamamo paused and only now looked up and took in our surroundings with her mana flexing as she summoned a seal that made her blink in complete confusion.
"Why in the world are we in... Antarctica of all places?" Tamamo asked in complete confusion.
And with a sigh, I said helplessly. "What other reason could we be here in the ass end of the world where no human would go to. We are here to join Chaldea if we can find the blasted place."
To say nothing of the surroundings being mountains with deep valleys and a plains area in the distance. We were truly in the ass end of nowhere. Still I did remember pictures of Chaldea, and if it's wards/boundary fields weren't completely cranked up to max level.
We had a good shot of finding Chaldea by climbing one of the nearby mountains a I remember it was built into a mountain!
Is what possibly could have been done.
But in the distance at a mountain peak a good couple miles away. I heard could heard the roar of what was clearly a large helicopter or air plane coming to life.
"Whelp there is an answer." I said with a shrug as I looked to Tamamo and asked. "So is it true the Mages Association is completely locked down?"
To which Tamamo scoffed and her tail swished through the air as she said through gritted teeth. "Hmph! Those bastards, I have no idea as I avoided them the best I could! They were lucky I didn't just curse the entire place!"
I could only smile wryly at how Tamamo was raging, but still I gently grabbed her hand and said more firmly. "Come on Tamamo, let's try to get up to that mountain or at least find a path. As it's not like you can teleport us across the world right?"
Tamamo's face pinched at my question before she said quietly. "I could teleport us a good few hundred miles with both of our mana put together. But yes, it woudn't be enough... Not only that, but I feel like-"
She drew off and with a exhale I said quietly. "Like we are here for a reason huh?"
Tamamo only nodded in agreement.
But then from the mountain we were walking towards. A large double rotar military helicopter took the air powerfully even withstanding the no-doubt strong winds that buffered it.
And it didn't take long for us to figure out that the helicopter was coming straight for us.
So we just stopped in the middle of the plains and I said bluntly. "Set some seals under the snow and ice... I doubt this will be a gentle welcoming party."
I was proven right as the helicopter came right at us over the next couple of minutes and from the helicopter came a dozen men and women armed to the teeth with machine guns.
From behind them came someone I recongized as well... All to well in fact as she scowled at seeing me as well.
"How the hell are you alive!"
Marie Olga Animusphere... The 'director' of Chaldea after her father very publicly got fucking murdered by one his expermental Homonculi snapping him in half.
Also a regular at the Mages Association because running Chaldea without winning the Grail Wish for fucking infinite money and resources required her to do a fuck load more networking.
So I had seen her around, and she had been in Waver Velvet's classroom a good bit interacting with the heirs sprinkled in with the class.
"So I became famous huh?" I said sheepishly as I scratched my head.
Olga's face turned bright red in tsundere fury at my 'teehee' equilvalent of an answer.
Still I looked behind her and said calmly. "You really should tell them to put down those guns. They won't work on me... Nor my servant here."
And Olga knew I was right so she just waved her and in annoyance before she stomped towards me and demanded.
"No! You don't tear through space and time, Punch a hole through the Sea of Imaginary Numbers and ride the literal Bifrost to end up on my front lawn and just ask if you became famous!" Olga snapped.
So I helpfully coughed and said calmly. "Actually it was the Gate of Skye... Not the Bifrost."
Olga gave me a glare and said to herself. "I want to kill him. No I want to kill him and then discect him... No I should viviscect him and then kill him!"
Tamamo didn't like that.
A soft... Giggle escaped the fox with Olga's self centered tsundere mind being put in the corner of a human with a large predator walking towards it got pulled to the front as Tamamo's killing intent landed on her.
"Do. Not. Insult. My. Darling... Or Tamamo will show you how inventive a Caster can be with their displeasure!" She said with a chilling smile.
I cleared my throat and said more firmly. "Alright enough. Lady Animusphere, what the hell is going on? I head the Mages Association and it's branches have been closed off and everyone has gone on war alert?"
Olga's face became odd for a second before she shook her head and said. "I would be so confused as to how you know anything... But if you were trained and survived around 'Her' then it's no suprise you might have picked up some things."
She took a breath and then explained. "We do not know yet. All we know is that suddenly all forms of divination is pin-pointing that the Human Order will be revoked within the next three days. And Chaldea is naturally equipped to look for the source of the diseaster."
I was still fucking confused on whether this was Goetia pulling some bullshit. But for now, I just nodded and then I said. "Alright. So next topic... I don't suppose we can ride out the end of the world with you guys for the next couple of days to see what happens?"
Olga's face pinched at my blunt request but she just tsked and said haughtily. "Fine! I suppose I will allow you to stay for a couple weeks at most. But any favors or charges you incur, I will charge directly to Lord Ell Mello The Second you understand!"
I just chuckled and said easily. "I was trained by the Queen of the Land of Shadows. I can pull my own weight so long as you aren't asking me to kill a dragon or something."
