With the Wither Star in hand, I obviously went straight to building the Beacon after I made it out of the Nether back in Karak Kadrin. Making the Beacon itself wasn't the issue neither was the materials as I had... Alot of iron blocks I kept in my inventory to use as building materials.

As it turns out. It's really fucking hard to actually dig through an entire meter of solid iron or likewise deal alot of a damage to an entire meter thick of iron.

Still... Moving a four layer beacon and it's supporting blocks was alot of fucking weight. A single iron block weighed literally more than 15,000 pounds per fucking block. And with a four layer beacon I needed two hundred and forty four blocks of base materials.

To say the least. I was dealing with an insane amount of raw weight that needed to be able to move around in rough terrain while in some kind of machine.

And for a good couple of hours after I built the beacon... I was completely lost on how to get past this massive weight issues as I had no way to compress the size or weight of the beacon and it's layers obviously.

But, then I had a different idea. Magic the shit out of it. Iron itself was a rather magnetic material obviously. Soooo I then got to work making the base level of the beacons support area in highly lightning attuned Gromril that had been refined by having a thousand lightning bolts strike it.

And with some dwarven runes of magnetism to push up against the blocks of iron while keeping it secured to the plate. The actual weight of the hundreds of iron blocks was largely negated.

Though there was a cost to this. If I took this machine into a land that innately had zero magic or the winds of magic in general running through it? Yeah those iron blocks were going to turn into an anchor and possibly snap my tank idea in half.

"When making a tank... You gotta start from the sides and work inwards. I am going to be using a dozen Centurion power cores as well. So power itself for the tank won't be an issue." I muttered thoughtfully.

So I sketched out the four layers of tank treads and called some of my kin to help me forge and ready the tank treads which weren't 'normal' tank treads. They were more like boards of solid metal that were chained together to make a latice that were as a whole enchanted with durability, water walking, and mending enchantments.

Because... Fuck them elves and their fancy ships. If I ever wanted to invade their fancy ass donut island. I would roll on up in a fucking tank or not at all!

"Now with the treads done. I need to make the engine and other turbines that will actually use the treads." I muttered with my kin working silently to follow and help me as much as they could.

And it was a surreal feeling having kin that were dozens of years older then me. Working in almost perfect concert with me. Their hammer blows rang out in a song of creation as they followed my tune as they followed the diagrams I made for the tank parts I had in mind.

Because this giant tank was somewhat mirroring the Chaos Dwarves designs of tanks in making basically a very small mobile castle. And while there weren't as many tiny parts and certainly no electronics.

This tank I was creating was going to need at LEAST twenty dwarves to operate it correctly and keep it going.

But even with the large number of operators needed... This tank so long as no Skaven nuke or a Orc shaman had Gork and Mork stomp on it. No normal monster or bullshit would be able to get past the tanks armor and hurt the occupants.

While they on the other hand would very much be able to hurt the attackers on the outside of the tank.

Time... Quickly passed by as I knew I coudn't make an entire tank by hand with optimal weapons and all. So I was only focused on the most bare bones bit as while I wanted to make the tank able to have retractable spider limbs like Dwarven spider units. I needed to focus on the main bits.

So while most of my kin focused on making the segmented armor plates for the armor of the tank so that magic nonsense could be destroyed/pushed away via the magic protection runes on the plates.

The kin of mine who were engineers helped me to fit everything together and make the main floor of the tank above the beacon itself.

The tank itself was twenty meters tall, and fifteen meters wide. With double tank treads on both sides to help it turn and move faster then with a single set of treads.

The shape of the tank was quite castle like in reality with it's height and looked more like it as well with the layers of metal armor plates like scale mail that was welded to it's form.

And the engine... The engine was a work of art. Twenty four ruby red gleaming Centurion cores formed the top of the pistons of the two dozen cylinder core engine and using the wonderful magic of boiling water.

The cores would super heat the water injected into it into plasma that would then push the pistons to allow the tank to move it's massive ass hell form.

As for weapons? Whelp, not enough time at the moment besides opening up some tiny arrow slits and some holes for several hundred degree steam to be shot out at insane pressures.

So the steam weapons would cut through very nearby enemies with the high pressure jets... And also give horrific burns from the insanely high heat water.

"It's done... For now." I whispered as dozens of my kin looked on in pride at the work we did in the last few days as the large engineering hall rumbled with the force of several tons of metal crossing over it's hallowed stone floors.

And then... My vision went dark as I collapsed in utter exhaustion as I saw the King of the Slayer's clenching his fist at feeling his obvious increase in strength and then looking back to me.
