Fate/Fool Chapter 27 (Patreon)

Olga swiftly showed me around Chaldea's main areas and even as the many mages of Chaldea gave me and Tamamo odd looks as we weren't wearing the Chaldea staff uniforms.
We made our way to the RND section of Chaldea, where she brought us in a room for Tamamo to write a truly vicious and utterly horrific Geass to bind Olga should she misuse the blood sample I was about to hand over.
The blood sample didn't take long to be analysed with Tamamo, and I were only left alone in the room for a good twenty minutes before Olga came back with a folder in her hands... And an expression that was clearly dripping with envy and jealousy
"You... Are quite impressive. A hundred and fifty plus Magic Circuits at Age of God's demigod levels of quality. unquantifiable acceptance level with Rayshifting and only... Only top-tier Servant compatibility with your soul being capable of managing up to five servants should you have the mana to support them." She almost spat at the end.
I raised an eyebrow at that news as I said thoughtfully. "Hmm, from how much Mana Tamamo can use. I doubt I could support five of her even if I wanted to. But how did a blood sample give you information on my magic circuits?"
Olga's face pinched before she said blandly. "We followed the bloodline of your own wisps of your soul that naturally dissipate within your blood, using a variant of necromancy to check... It's how we check if your soul and body can take the weight of servants and rayshifting to whole other Worldlines after all."
Then Olga took a deep breath with a scowl as she clearly wanted to scream about how utterly unjust my existence was in this modern world of declining magecraft.
But she held it in. The Mt Tsundere didn't explode, surprisingly.
Instead, she said more calmly. "While Chaldea's lead inventor and other heads want to meet with you for various reasons. I will ask that you don't summon anymore servants while in Chaldea, and if at all possible... Remain in the dorm we will assign you until what happens in the next couple of days. Come to pass."
Left unsaid was my option to meet these heads of Chaldea and honestly... I had no fucking idea what was going to happen, so I wasn't going to bother right now.
Some pompous noble brat from the Clocktower trying to learn my secrets or otherwise mess with me was just going to cause issues.
Better to wait until the world blows up to the shit, and whoever survives, I can speak with.
"Alright, please show me to our room then. Tamamo and I will be laying down some bounded fields to keep to ourselves just a heads up." I said with a grin as I realized something very fucking important.
I could finally have a real shower after more than a month! No more washing myself from baths and buckets of rune-heated water from the fucking eldritch ocean that was outside of Scathach's castle!
Olga nodded as a matter of course and said rather plainly. "So long as your bounded fields do not extend from your door at all. Anyone who touches another person's door is free game to whatever curses and magecraft tied to it's bounded fields."
Which was fairly standard practise with this world's massive focus on privacy and a mage's personal workshop.
So Olga brought Tamamo and me over to our room with Tamamo giggling happily in my mind. "We finally get to share a room again! I cannot wait to cook you a delightful meal plan that my old friend Benienma taught me!"
Though as we were making our way there. I asked Olga curiously, even as Tamamo leaned into my arm, she was holding against her ample chest as we walked around.
"So Olga, anyone else I should know about in Chaldea? Is any of Lord Ell Mello II's students part of Chaldea?" I asked curiously.
It would be... Rather funny if that chaotic fucking gremlin that was Flat Escardo was here after all.
But sadly, Olga just shook her head and said. "As far as I am aware. The only alma mater of that classroom is the students of the late Kayneth Archibald. But as for people YOU should worry about definitely the A-Team of mages who have been training to respond to whatever happens in a couple of days."
As I naturally asked who they were to see if they matched up to the Crypters I remembered. Olga firmly denied me any information saying their own information was private and not up for her reveal.
Which reminded me that she might have signed a geass not to reveal people's secrets who became part of Chaldea after all.
But once we got to our room Olga had other things to do, and the young woman quickly made her way down the long curved halls of Chaldea as Tamamo and I made our way into the room they assigned us.
"Let me check for spying magecraft and other dirty things, my darling." Tamamo said quickly as she pulled out several ofuda that flew around the room and tacked themselves onto the walls.
And after a minute, I said thoughtfully. "Tamamo, how much can you reinforce this room to protect it from explosives or outward attacks?"
I had zero idea if this Chaldea had a traitor because I was still doubtful of Solomon and Goetia being the issue that was going to destroy the world, after all. But taking chances was for fools.
And while Tamamo nodded and spoke. I was already hard at work. Kneeling on the ground to engrave runes of power into the ground to protect the floor and ceiling, especially from attacks.
I then went to rest on the rather plain bed with a sigh and as I laid down to star up the ceiling... Without a word. The shameless fox of ruin snuck into my arms with a heartless giggle.
But all the while I couldn't help but wonder if I was ready... Within the next couple of days. Supposedly, the fucking world was going to end. And I didn't have any foreknowledge to guide me at all.
'Whelp... At least if I die. I died having fucked Scathach several times. And in the arms of a big titty fox priestess.'
