The next few days were nice and 'relaxed' is what I would like to say. But in reality, knowing that the Joyous Union Sect next door WAS going to fuck around and find out. I had to make sure I wasn't the one getting fucked over.

So, more weapons were installed in the area. More subspace mines were hidden in the void to kill high-level cultivators who tried sneaking in through the higher dimension.

All the while, I made sure to treat Ayaka... Very well as I had taken her officially as a concubine. But more of a second wife in reality as I tried to be as good to her as I could.

Hence the current situation as Ayaka sat in my lap as I controlled a rocket drone that carried a half dozen large scale spatial storage rings stuffed to the brim with spirit herb grade rice and other food staple products.

"There is our estate." Ayaka said softly as she gently pointed at the figure of an Inazuma style mansion partly hidden between two mountains and near the northeast coastline of Narukami Island.

I brought the rocket down at an angle and Ayaka inhaled sharply as we flew over the estate and actually saw Ayato himself sitting elegantly on the edge of a patio as he was doing some calligraphy.

"There is my brother! Can we deliver it to him directly!?" Ayaka said excitedly and I nodded before chuckling as I said.

"Not only that. But you can even speak with him as I installed some speakers in the rocket as well in case we needed to talk to the guards or something."

At this point even with myself taking as many precautions as I could to make the rocket as silent as possible. Ayato had long found the rocket in the air that was slowly descending towards the ground.

And with a chuckle we heard through the speakers on our end. "Hoh? Is my sister somehow squeezed into this little contraption Jake Bariss?"

I coudn't help a small giggle at the thought of Ayaka ungracefully climbing out of the half meter long rocket somehow like a clown stuffed into a tiny car.

But still I flicked a couple buttons and whispered into Ayaka's ear. "Go ahead and speak. He will be able to hear you without issue."

So Ayaka took a breath and spoke out with her clear voice with deliberate effort to make herself sound as clear as possible. It was honestly adorable!

"Ahem brother can you hear me?"

Ayato's amused face became an even more natural smile as he nodded and said regally. "Indeed I can dear sister. Is this supposed to be a way for us to communicate more easily?"

And I just listened with patient amuesment as Ayaka excitedly shared how I already got a large grain factory system up and running. And within the panels of the rocket were a dozen spatial rings filled with staple grains and food that could feed the people.

Though obviously very excited, Ayato looked a bit helpless as he said with a sigh. "Sometimes too much fortune is going to be troublesome in it's core... I expect that Kitsune Saiguu and Yae Miko will hear of myself donating and selling food at the lowest of cost is going to get poor attention."

To which I spoke up more firmly. "If they do give you issues. Remind them that their own food factories which they are using to feed their nations army was made by my own hand... And even if they look through every single inch of the place. They can never be sure if there is a adepti seal on the inside of my machines they can never repair should the rune explode."

Ayato wasn't at all offended by my threatening words towards his land's leaders, instead he just chuckled as he said with a soft smile. "I am glad you and Ayaka are so close now. I did not make a mistake in pushing you two together."

Ayato then took a breath before he looked away towards Mt Yugao where the Narukami Shrine was for a long moment. Before he tsked and said in annoyance. "It seems one of the foxes has already learned of this things arrival. Jake does this thing need to be stored in a special way after I remove these spatial rings?"

I quickly said. "No, once you remove the rings, just put it away in your own spatial storage. I will fly it back in a couple days once they leave or look away and you leave it out in the open."

Ayato nodded and our vision went dark as the connection was cut with the rocket entering Ayato's storage space.

And for a moment Ayaka was quiet and still.

Then she slowly turned around in my lap to look towards me with her hands gently cupping my jawline with her blueish silver eyes filled with love as she gently leaned in and kissed me.

Our lips broke apart with a soft pop as I held her waist. "Hmm?" I hummed to ask what was that for.

But she just giggled with her right thumb gently stroking under my jaw as she said softly. "In all my years Jake... I have never seen my brother so happy. I have never seen the pure relief in his gaze at the knowledge that several thousand children woudn't have to go to bed hungry that night."

She leaned in with her lips kissing my earlobe before she whispered into my ear. "Come to bed my husband... I want to see if he will be even more excited when I tell him he is an uncle now with your son on the way in the near future."
