Loud thunks rang out, and several male scientists with entirely too much education and far too soft of hands were yelling at us 'helpfully' from the side as Dan Heng and I worked to slot one of the treated logs atop one another to make the log cabin.

"So... I imagine making a log cabin by hand in a tiny cubbie of Herta's Space Station wasn't on your bucket list," I said with some amusement to Dan Heng.

A light snort escaped Dan Heng at my statement. But he as stretched his likewise probably sore back after our couple of hours of hard work. He said with a small smile.

"While I didn't imagine myself doing such a thing. I do admit that working with my hands is a pleasant thing. It helps keep the mind empty to relax."

I nodded in agreement before I said with own my satisfied smile at seeing the shell of the cabin done. Obviously we needed to properly insulate the inside and then put some sealant around the edges of the outside part.

But with our superhuman bodies. And the fact that I could force into reality the perfectly sized and carved wooden logs. It was a quick job for us.

Especially with Welt Yang helping us, as the old man let out a grunt of pleasure as he sank into the sinfully soft and deep Ultra XXL Lazyboy Seat that I made for the 'old man' to relax in. As well as helping us do all the plumbing and hooking up this cabin to the station's power system.

"I am going to need this chair to be moved into my own cabin on the Express... Having a seat that can heat or cool itself is a life-changing thing." Welt said with a sigh of appreciation.

I gave Welt a look as he relaxed with his hands behind his head. His body was shaking lightly from the chair's massage motor, and I wondered if he still had part of the power of the Hersher of Reason. Which was how he was able to help us also build so quickly.

Still, I had the Denial of Nothingness. That bullshit Honkai plague and even Silver Wolf's Aether Editing could go sit in the corner.

Finally, after a moment of thought, I asked Welt quietly. "Welt, you worked as an animator and such back on Earth right? Have you thought about bringing Earth's culture into this wider universe somehow?"

Welt and I had already talked about how we both came from Earth, and I didn't even know enough about Honkai Impact 3rd to even think about gaslighting him about coming from that world.

So he was basically under the impression I came from either a Bubble universe world. Or some other form of alternate equivalent of Earth.

My thoughts on the topic were then answered by the Chaos Gatcha actually 'halping' me so much I wanted to cry.

And what the hell was my 'luck' in this universe where I was drawing these damned 'familiars' that were so much damned trouble?

[Ditto]|Rare Familiar|Pokemon - An amorphous purple blob with a dopey face, Ditto has the ability to transform into any creature they can see and adopt their abilities scaled to their own level except their durability. They do not take on the memories and intelligence of what they transform into. They are also genderless and can breed with any race.]

Disregarding the utterly fucking insane idea of a Ditto seeing an Aeon while around Stelle on our adventures and copying them and their powers. That last bit was what actually scared me.

Because what happens if the Vidyadhara, who was a dying race completely incapable of breeding at all. Learned that they could actually start to increase their race's numbers?

"Uhhh... Did your power's just give you a living slime monster?" Dan Heng said with some confusion.

The literal pile of pink cheerful 'goo' in my lap turned towards the source of Dan Heng's voice... And then I wanted to scream as Ditto's form shifted and somehow gained mass as it grew and grew.

Until I had my very damned own Dan Heng in my lap. But DON'T worry kids. It wasn't gay because Ditto Heng's tight-fitting robes were bulging in the front as the damned Ditto took on a genderbent form of Dan Heng!

'Ah... So that's how Ditto's are able to breed with 'any' race. They take the form of the target in a reflected, around-gender form, and with its already highly unstable DNA, there was no worry about issues like genetic diseases.' I thought.

And for the first time, whether it be here in this new life or in my previous life where I played Honkai Star Rail. This was the first time I saw the normally unflappable Dan Heng literally choking at the sight of Titty Heng in my lap.

"Jake... What in the world is that?" Welt Yang said with total exasperation.

I gave the two of them a look before I said with a helpless smile. "My power's gave me another Familiar, I guess you could say. And it is able to copy anyone and any living thing in front of them, including the use of their powers but scaled to it's own energy stores."

I cleared my throat and added helplessly. "It also takes on the target's form, just as the opposite gender."

Sharing how this Ditto took the opposite gender form just to facilitate its breeding ability in front of two dudes. Whom I had only been around for a couple of days at this point was entirely too much.

I carefully put Ditto on the ground in front of me and it turned towards me with it's derpy as hell face, and I face-palmed as it transformed into a female version of myself as well.

'Am I just cursed to have weird fucking Familiars or something?' I thought with some annoyance.

But after a sharp inhale, I said helplessly. "It's basically harmless... At least unless someone is directly threatening me or something. But yeahhhh, maybe I should put it in a jar next to that eldritch doll."

Then another thought struck me. If the Ditto copied me, did that mean it could use all of my abilities as well? If so, it's ability to throw typhoons along was dangerous enough.

Dan Heng and Welt Yang shared a look before the two shrugged, with Dan Heng saying with a sigh. "I am almost sure at this point Jake. That your powers are a result of the Aeon of Elation taking an unfortunate interest in your life."

Aha, taking an interest in my life was definitely the perfect example of the saying. 'Living in interesting times.'

I cleared my throat and shook my head as I wondered if I could actually bring all of Pokémon into the Honkai Universe with my current powers. And having Ditto, because wasn't Ditto like a lesser Mew, which held the DNA of all Pokémon?

The ultimate side quest. Becoming a Pokémon master, collecting Pokémon while Stelle was busy collecting her own Paths.

Yeahhh not likely.

With a flicker of light, I created a large glass jar and, with a bit of effort. I scooped up the ditto and put it in the glass jar with it smiling in its derpy way as its 'face' pressed up against the glass.

A clatter rang out and we looked over to see March 7th pop her head into the room past the door. And seeing us all sitting in recliner seats with our phones in our laps facing an empty wall. The pink-haired, beautiful woman pointed at us three and said strongly.

"No! You are not turning our little cabin into a man cave! Big sis Himiko will put a stop to this instantly!"

I tilted to my head to the side and said with a sigh. "Calm down, little March 7th. We don't have several TV's on the walls playing different sports games. Nor a little bar or anything in here. But who is to say Himiko won't put a whole barista bar in here?"

Everyone, literally everyone, shuddered violently at the thought, with March zipping towards us and shaking Dan Heng and our chairs with 'fear' as she said. "If Himiko makes this entire cabin into a coffee shop, we are doomed!"

I then tilted my head to the side even as I 'enjoyed' the shaking. I said. "Where is Stelle? Is she still busy drawing trashcans on the outside walls with crayons?"

March smiled more naturally and said. "Yeah, big sis Himiko is helping add details with markers and some other things... Think we could power wash it at some point and draw on it again?"

I shrugged as my 'Fuck you, here is a typhoon' powers and Fate powers I got didn't exactly make me a high-quality artist. And at the point that the typhoon was strong enough to peel paint and perm marker off a wall... The building was likely to go with it.

A loud rumble rang out through the space station. And then before I could react. The wooden floor beneath my very seat crackled and I felt my body float for the briefest moment.

And I watched my friends' eyes widen as I fell several meters through a portal made out of glowing blocks of some kind of imaginary energy, and I was surrounded by darkness.

A loud thud rang out and I winced as my back slammed into the back of the chair even as the portal above me closed with a crisp crackle of energy.

I instantly threw myself forward off the chair as I took out HI3 Himiko's sword, which flared with fiery energy as I looked around hurriedly.

As that multicolor portal wasn't subtle in the slightest. I knew it was that smug 'brat' Silver Wolf who had made it.

The room I had been dropped into was clearly still part of Herta's space station. So I hadn't been teleported far. But across the room, sitting with their back to me in a white plastic chair was a figure with violet colored hair and their sword resting on their shoulder.

And the figure I recognized all to easily spoke in a velvet voice that filled my ears, and then my mind with a wool that made my vision darken. "Listen... Jake, why don't you just sit back down in that chair."

I felt the softness of the chair hitting my hand before ice filled my blood and I violently shook my head with my imaginary energy flooding my body as I shouted. "No! Get the fuck out of my head!"

Then Kafka spoke again, softer with her Spirit Voice, making my body feel like I was both drunk and high on suppressants all the while. "Listen, Jake you are feeling so very tired, so very heavy. Just relax for now, just close your eyes. Listen, good boy, relax, close your eyes just... A little bit more."

-

The sound of a form hitting the floor rang out with a bored voice ringing out. "Remind me again why we aren't removing him entirely? His arrival made Elio's cat avatar almost go bald with stress."

Kafka let out a lethargic sigh before saying idly. "In the timelines we kill this little variable directly or indirectly at any point in time within the next month. The universe is snapped out of existence with half of all life dying, including the Aeons, and the universe is lost to Nihility as even Nanook is turned to ashes."

"If he dies after the first month, even indirectly, while the entire universe isn't snapped half out of existence. He becomes a wandering spirit, and the Astral Express and their allies become our worst enemies as Jake offers to cure the Xianzhou's population of Mara, and even then. He gets a new memetic body when he becomes an emanator-tier Memokeeper."

"Why is Aha protecting him? No, why does Aha send actual physical letters to the Astral Express telling them who killed him is the real question? Besides, Aha is just being a troll as per usual." Silver Wolf said with boredom as she strolled out of from behind a veil.

Kafka slowly stood up, spun her chair around, and sat back down and rested her chin on a hand that rested on her seat's arm with her finger audibly tapping her cheek.

There was a moment of silence before Kafka said with a sigh. "Because Jake is walking chaos. No matter which timeline Elio looks in relation to Jake's future, his power growth is always different. He gets different powers, different objects of power. Something's even a threat to the Aeons and has caused Elio pain when looked upon."

"The reason that Aha is watching and even Jake is simple... Even though Aha knows that Jake is weak for now especially. Aha is just a child waiting for the future show, and woe be to whoever ruins the showtime of when Jake the walking nexus of chaos, changes the universe in some way."

Silver Wolf walked over to Jake's passed-out form and, with a tsk she said with some annoyance. "Yeahhh well, he still annoys me. My main duo is going to hook up with this dweeb, and Firefly is still all torn up about her best friend forgetting her."

Kafka sighed softly with her dull violet eyes filled with a softness at the mention of Stelle. "That little one... She, no we will still play a part in her life. And speaking of which. You had best be ready for Stelle's bat; she will be looking for you when Herta's security tracks down this storage room to find Jake."
