The actual Pheathon Account on the Interknot was sadly lost and too compromised by the hacker. But even then. Even as we could hear the hacker screaming with their voice changers as NEPS descended on their location.

I saw how the safe had been opened at the hacker's threat to steal Pheathon's files and remotely destroy the HDD. And plugged into the massive server and computer system was the large flash drive that contained the AI Fairy.

'Well... At least I don't need to worry about the siblings.' I mused to myself, though I knew it would be a while before 'best assistant' would come out to announce themselves to the siblings.

A loud sigh escaped Bell as she sagged into her chair as they finally cut the connection between this system and that hackers as he was taken away by the cops.

The room was filled with a heavy quiet before Billy said awkwardly. "Sooo I uhh assume that the ramen celebration is canceled?"

Dark looks were sent his way to his dumbass question. And with a sigh I cleared my throat and said. "Nicole, managers. What are you going to say to the slient who wanted that safe?" 

The three shared a look before Nicole waved her hand and said with a sharp giggle. "Oh? That's easy! We just curse at the client for accepting several other mercs who interfered with the job, and that hacker ruined the flash drive in trying to send everyone else involved to jail."

My lips twitched at that evil plan... But I liked it!

Still, I brushed a hand across my face before I sighed. "Fine, that works for me. Manager's you mind if I go make some sandwiches or something? I need something that hasn't been sitting in Anby's backpack for eight hours." 

Belle and Wise shared a look before Wise nodded with a raised eyebrow before he said with amuesment. "Go ahead Jake. I am curious if you can make an utterly unforgettable sandwich as well."

With Belle being far more enthusiastic, she jumped up to her feet and said. "Oooh! I wanna watch as well! I wanna le-"

But at that point I had been picked up by Anby with my face turning dull as she said. "Escorting Jake to the burger station... Tally hooo." 

And as I was taken up to the kitchen area of Random Play, I realized that they... These homebody useless shut-ins actually stocked their cupboards with some food, and there was fresh food in the fridge!

It wasn't JUST piles of snacks everywhere!

After Anby put me down on the ground. I looked to Belle and patted her head making her go cross-eyed as she looked at my hand and me in confusion.

"Good girl. Keep the food stores stocked or you won't live past the age of fifty with your bones turning to salt from all the sodium." I said sagely with Belle's face twitching as she tried to come up with a refute for my dumbass statement.

Then it was my turn to be speechless as Anby piped up. "Your bones won't turn to salty sodium if you keep drinking soda. The acid and sugar will melt the salt away."

I turned over and flicked Anby on the head as I scolded her. "Yeah, and you are an intellitron who runs off of burger grease as fuel and lubricant."

In the corner of my eye as I got to work actually making some hamburgers due to the fact the Pheathon siblings ACTUALLY had real food in their kitchens. 

I could see Anby lift up her hand and flex her hand as she seemingly was actually considering my words.

'Damn, I know you are a clone of some kind. But don't be thinking you are actually an android just because you are cute and have silver hair!' I thought with some exasperation.

After making up a bunch of burger's to feed the Pheathon Siblings... I got another Gatcha Ticket I really didn't want, honestly.

That moment of Wise actually thinking gay thoughts about me was enough for me to hurriedly escape the store with the other well fed members of the Cunning Hares as we headed back home.

After we got back home and in the 'comfort' of our shitty warehouse of a home, I watched Nicole flop herself onto the couch with her breasts bouncing mightily with the motion.

"Nicole, where the hell can we go to buy some property on the edges of New Eridu actually?" I asked as I relaxed into a love seat that wasn't underneath that boarded-up skylight where that stripper molester came in from.

Nicole paused at my question before she sighed and said with a hum. "Hmm, I got a good number of contacts with real estate guys. But are you sure you reaaaalllly wanna buy your own property? Because it's going to be super expensive to build anything."

While consumer good's were very carefully kept at reasonable costs so normal people could live here in New Eridu.

Special materials were likewise at a massive premium, as it's not like there was much in the way of room to collect resources with how much of the world had been taken over by the Hollow, obviously.

"Yuuuup! I want to have my own base where I can put up my own laser turrets with a sign that reads 'I shoot trespassers on sight' and NEPS won't be able to say shit." 

Anby then added with a somewhat tired voice as she laid out on her own recliner, as she held her almost pregnant-looking stomach after eating a dozen larger burgers.

"Having a fortified base would be good, Nicole. If Jake keeps making large amounts of money selling extremely valuable minerals... We can't be here in a rented warehouse with more broken windows than square footage."

Nicole made a helpless tsking noise before sighing and saying in clear acceptance. "Fine! Fine, I get it. We need to spring for an actual fortified base if we want to actually expand beyond just the Cunning Hares operations."

"I will start hitting all my old sucke- I mean old clients to see if they have any lots for sale on the edge of New Eridu. But Jake, do you want to build out towards the Outer Rim and it's Badlands? Or towards the Waifei Peninsula?"

'Waifei Peninsula? I think you mean Waifu Land. Because it's a fucking life goal of mine to get a lap pillow from the two big-titty Void Hunter not 'cultivators' of the Yunkui Summit.'

"Preferably towards Waifei Peninsula. I am going to need a stable source of water if I want to do actual large amounts of building. Plus we would have access to higher-end clients that way, along with not needing to deal with any asshole bandits in the Outer Rim."
