"I can't feel my legs." She dryly reported in a light whisper.

A burst of masculine pride shot through me along with a snort of a chuckle. But I still reached over to the bedside table to offer Mio a drink with her huffing before she drank from the cups straw.

And with a crisp throat clearing noise, Mio cleared her throat that was a bit ragged after moaning and screaming for the last couple hours.

"We aren't in any rush to get back to the Sanctuary... We can just relax and enjoy our honeymoon for a few days before we get teleported into the Second Sanctuary." I spoke softly as I brushed my hand through her soft crimson hair.

Mio exhaled with a bit of anxious energy as she said in a helpless tone. "I am worried about the Second Sanctuary Jake... Those spirits if you land near a Shelter with hostile Spirits who enslave humans or just outright kill them, even with your strength you will have alot of trouble." 

And that was very true. Putting it lightly, the difference between First Tier Sacred Blood Creatures, and Second Tier Sanctuary Sacred Blood Creatures was like comparing Marvel Movie Feats to their Comic feats. And Spirit's were often much stronger then the beasts and monsters that filled the sanctuary, even if they were of the same rank.

Still, my raw strength was only one tool in my arsenal. "Even if things get dicey... I can still run away. Who knows, maybe if I get lucky I will land at an empty shelter without either human or spirit lords." I said with a laugh as I didn't fear a fight!

I then gave Mio a light squeeze before I said softly. "I am the one more worried about you. We have zero idea where we will land. So, just try to get of the Sanctuary safely as soon as possible so we can meet back up."

Mio nodded softly against me before she hummed and said thoughtfully. "Enough about the Sanctuary for now... I did get the acceptance letter for Black Hawk University that you are going to. But I will be training with my ancestor Yi Xuan, so I won't be able to enter for a few months."

"What is she going to be teaching you?" I asked curiously.

Mio shrugged and said helplessly. "Her own particular Geno Martial Art is all I know, honestly. Besides that, how to touch upon my Gene Locks once I start to fill out my Geno Points in the Second Sanctuary."

Then a snort left Mio as she gave me a nudge before she said pointedly. "And you better not be picking up all kinds of girls while I am gone Jake! I am going to be your head wife, and if you have more then three girls besides me, I am going to stab you." 

There wasn't even anger in her voice at her threat to stab me, it was just a matter of fact. If I did something stupid and was a manwhore in the Sanctuary/College while she was busy. A knife would be going into my back.

And you know what. The type of woman who would ACTUALLY kill me got my engine going as the Sanctuary didn't allow for me to entertain girls who were afraid to punch a monster to death with their bare hands.

Mio had zero issue stabbing a freshly hatched monster for easy Sacred Blood geno points. So I knew she could harden her heart.

"I will keep that in mind Mio haha." I said with a chuckle before I slapped her ass making Mio squeak in suprise as I retorted. "But don't threaten to stab me, or I will put you over my knee."

A snort left Mio even as she kissed and sucked on my neck for a minute as recompense. But she still said with a hum.

"I trust and love you Jake, but I have seen my elders. Full of power, and strong wills. And there is always women throwing themselves at them. Even the most decent man could be drugged, tricked, or just seduced by a woman who wants a strong man in this universe." 

"So instead of trying to keep you on a leash when you are still a good man. It's far better for our relationship if I just set hard limits and my boundaries."

I was quiet as I just accepted that for a good moment before Mio kissed my jaw one last time before she shifted to curl up next to me more comfortably before she said softly. "Let's get back to the movie... I might fall asleep, though." 

And while I brought my laptop to lay it atop a mat on my waist. A loud bleep rang out from my phone, and while I thought it was from Yang Manli or maybe even Qin Xuan. 

I blinked at seeing it was from Luo Sulan, the mother of Han Sen, and her message made me almost shoot upwards in excitement!
