Martial Teyvat Chapter 82 (Patreon)

Stellar Jade was... Fucking interesting!
I stared at the solid conceptual stellar energy and could only rub my eye's at it made both zero sense and entirely too much damned sense at the same time!
Stellar Jade was actually solid 'Imaginary Energy' but each piece was... Vastly different from one another.
One piece I could tell came from and formed within the Sea of Quantum before falling into Teyvat. Another piece clearly leaked as amber from the Imaginary Tree. And yet another was clearly a piece of a planetary core that had been directly destroyed by some other form of pure imaginary energy.
That last one... With my knowledge of Honkai Star Rail, I was fairly sure I knew what destroyed that planet, and what the signature of otherworldly 'imaginary energy' was from.
'The Hunt... Is this the energy signature of a Path?' I muttered to myself as I just stared dully at a monitor at the Stellar Jade contained by the Hunt's energy.
I had it heavily shielded. Well, I was a bit worried my cultivation energy may ping off of the stone's remnant Hunt path energy and make it 'think' I was an abomination of Abundance.
"If those psychos of the Xianzhou reach Teyvat and see those two Sumeru gods, they will think that they are literally the descendants of their most hated foes." I muttered to myself helplessly before shaking my head.
While these Stellar Jade were extremely fascinating... They were common gifts for a reason. They had little to no practical value because they carried so little Imaginary Energy they couldn't be used as a fuel source.
And each one was so different, with some having dangerous aspects like the source of their Imaginary Energy, that even in mass they couldn't be used as fuel.
"Still, it at least helps me understand that I will probably need to make some kind of energy shield for any space probes and any form of space station I send up out of atmosphere," I muttered to myself while stretching a bit.
With this bit of studying done. I checked my tablet and saw that my drone would be arriving back in Mondstadt for the second delivery of materials in a good twenty minutes.
"Keging and Ayaka are busy cultivating inside together in the cultivation chamber... Whelp, gives me time to speak with Jean I guess." I muttered thoughtfully.
I wondered if I should do any other trade deals with the other nations of Teyvat? I knew Fontaine had water shortages, which was a massive 'surprise' for the land of Hydro.
But their seas, lakes, and other major water sources were ALL heavily corrupted by abyssal energy as their abyssal entrances all sent out heavily hydro-themed abyssal monsters, not to mention the native spirit beasts and monsters.
Natlan... Was a shithole, not even because of endless abyssal monsters like all the other nations had and had to deal with regularly. But because the nation had a stupidly massive native spirit beast and monster population.
And their native monster populations were all very tightly knit in their racial communities.
As for Sneznahya... They embraced the icy cold to such a degree that only the strong abyssal monsters or monsters with powerful ice bloodlines could remain. And due to the constant subzero temp's they kept their nation at.
Their food production was all but nonexistent. They got the majority of their food from extremely deep cave-grown mushrooms they transplanted from Sumeru. Deep-sea fishing, as well as mammoth hunting.
I just sighed as this world was truly fucked to a crazy level. While the Emanator's of HSR were far more powerful then the god's and god-level cultivators. Any common pathstrider would get their ass handed to them by even grade two martial artists and cultivators.
"Now... What 'kind' of space ship and stations should I make outside of the plane world of Teyvat to explore the greater universe? I do need it to be secure and protected because god knows if some abyssal monsters will try to teleport onto it as well?" I muttered to myself.
The issue was. My 'faction' was just myself, my two wives, and Ayaka's literal maid. I had zero reason to build a massive, expansive space station or even a massive ship itself, except for shock and awe.
All I needed was a good... Fifty-meter-long spaceship, and I could literally make hundreds of spatial rings for mass storage, as well as expand a couple of core rooms to much larger internal capacities.
With that. I got to work, designing a spaceship for a good bit until I also got to work designing a two-way portal system. I was going to need a friendly god to help me create. As I had the idea of having a small space station in orbit that would locked over this major base of mine.
'A space station filled with my drones that can carry spatial rings for trade to and from the nations of Teyvat will solve my issue of not wanting much stronger people fucking with me!' I thought strongly.
A soft bloop rang out to my ears and I blinked as I saw that my drone that went back to Mondstadt had landed already. And had been taken into another meeting room.
I turned on the speaker system and called out as I also turned on the drone's screen system so they could also see me as I started eating a sandwich.
"You guy's there?" I called out.
"Hello Jake, I hope we aren't interrupting your lunch?" Jean replied with a small chuckle as she took a seat across from my drone.
I waved her off and said easily. "Nah, you are good. I just need some brain food as I work on my next big mega project. Anyway! Enclosed within the drone's storage rack is the several tons of metal, as well as Teflon-coated sample weapons. I do ask that while you test them, you use the special containers I also sent to collect samples of the local monster's super acid blood."
After absorbing my flood of words, Jean slowly nodded in agreement before she said thoughtfully. "Taking samples won't be an issue, even if it will take a few days or even a week as there are. A very large number of different abyssal creatures that come out of the depths of the abyss here in Mondstadt."
I shrugged and said casually. "That's fine; I can just leave the drone there, and you can get my attention by pushing the small button next to the screen my face is appearing on. I may not-"
I was cut off as a loud ringing rang out across from my laboratory. But it wasn't the proximity alarm for the factory. Nor the spatial alarm of some asshole willing to brave the spatial storm that was surrounding my base in the higher dimensional plane.
It was the alarm specifically for the phone I left with Ningguang incase there was something important she had to speak with me about.
'Is it about me nuking the Joyous Union Sect? It's been more then a couple days, why is she just calling me now for?' I mused to myself.
Still, I turned to Jean and said firmly. "Please excuse me, I have something going on, on my side. When you have the samples, we can discuss more."
And with that, I cut the transmission and quickly picked up the phone call as I was... Slightly worried something had happened at Liyue Harbor.
"Ningguang?" I called out in a questioning tone. As the Tianquan of Liyue Harbor wasn't the type to make social calls.
Ningguang's all to clear voice rang out as she spoke in turn. "Hello, Jake. Before anything. I would like to clarify if you and Keqing are still alright after that Joyous Union's attack?"
I nodded and said bluntly. "Yes, we are all fine."
The line went quiet for but a moment before I realized I could hear some muttering in the background. Though it's not like Ningguang had put the phone on speaker mode. So I coudn't understand what was being said.
Still, after that moment of silence, Ningguang cleared her throat and spoke bluntly in turn.
"Jake, I was asked to, ask you in turn with your special methods of gathering information. If you had the location of any demi-god or even god-tier monsters or spirit beasts around the Stone Gate Fortress that separates Liyue and Mondstadt?"
I paused at that question before I asked curiously. "Uhhh yeah, I do have such information. Who asked for this information anyway?"
While Liyue Harbor was the heart of Liyue, it didn't have the strength to go fuck around with monsters like that. The harbor may have had one... Maaaaybe two god-level combatants inside the major city with the largest population on this world. And they woudn't move without very good reason.
The rest of the leadership of Liyue Harbor was strictly at the lower level of the fourth tier of Martial Saint, and Nascent Soul.
Still, Ningguang said with a light chuckle. "The lord of Geo himself asked. The massive spatial storm you created with your subdimensional weapons made it so that god-level abyssal monsters won't appear in the short term. So he is going to take the chance to gather some divine-level raw resources for Liyue with his own hands."
'Gather with his own hands my ass... He is going to slaughter everything that he see's to feed his people more like.' I thought helplessly as I recalled the 'canon' Genshin lore where Morax put belt to ass in the Archon War.
He was called the war god and god of divine slaughter for a reason... Most other nations had one or two gods who died there in those other lands. Liyue, on the other hand, had more than a fucking dozen gods who died at Morax's hands.
"Uhhh yeah, I captured the locations of several demi-god-tier monsters and spirit beasts on the border area, and even more in the Dragon Spine Mountain Range." I said thoughtfully.
Then I brushed a hand across my face and said. "Hmm, in that case. How about I bring the maps along with some more goodies back to Liyue? I have some new toy's that will make sharing information much easier especially in the near future."
Being able to make a couple cell towers in the major area's of Liyue would in fact help with alot of things. But I was a little worried if they could actually protect it. Even with the laser weapons and masses of firearms I sold/gave away to Liyue Harbor.
It was still plagued by those damned demon bats that would flood into the city every single night.
Ningguang's voice became a good bit lighter as she said with a notable smile. "Good, it has been a while since I have seen you Jake. And DO be sure to bring Keqing as well. You stole the Yuheng Star from us, and it's only fair you let her return to see her family in the Qixing and her blood relatives."
I coughed with a bit of shame before I said helplessly. "Ah, yeah of course. That won't be an issue. I will be at the harbor in but a couple of hours. I will also be bringing Ayaka with me as well."
Ningguang let out a hum of agreement before she said. "Good, I will have baths and a banquet prepared for you all at the Jade Chamber. It is likely that Morax will be in attendance if not Lady Cloud Retainer."
Taking the heads up for what it was. I said simply. "I understand. Excuse me then, I will need to get moving in anycase."
Though as I hung up the call, I did have an idle thought that got stuck in my mind. 'When I do get a small space station set up. I want to try to see if I can looking into the Chasm, and the Depths to see from orbit, the abyss portal or however the abyss is invading Teyvat directly.'
Because I had a suspicion that the reason the Abyss was such a massive problem in this timeline compared to canon was the fact that these places didn't get a Celestial Nail from Celestia.
And while I was busy in Liyue having social interactions, my machines would be busy making all the base materials for the space station and spaceship. So I woudn't be just sitting in my base trying to cultivate, I could get some more things done.
