Today we went to the big park where you can run after a frisbee like real far. She's a happy dogget now. In other news, thinking about education platforms and interactive educational material used in schools. I've worked with some and spoken with many, over the years, and considering whether I'd want to work or consult with any now. Anyone have opinions on any of the platforms out there?

Scratch that... she is now a miserable dog full of angst because she does not get to eat the pizza. Why is the universe so cruel and unfair? I don't know, but I might conjecture that given the research showing happiness is more related to relative wealth than absolute wealth, probably having dogs makes people happier because it teaches us how awesome we humans are with our pizza and everything

Are you looking to work with a company that creates educational software or to sell what you create to a specific company?

As far as platforms go, YouTube hosting will reach the most and is most reliable. It is also the most unpredictable and toxic, though. For materials, it may be best to use your own dot-com. I've hated that as a software developer, the default is to disable and block everything when trying to share. I can't even send a script renamed as a text file if it has key words in it.

Maybe neither or either? I've heard or been involved with enough specific companies that I'd like a better picture of the space, as others see it.

Strangely enough I didn't even think of YouTube as an education platform. They're definitely not in the same category as things like Khan Academy, but I've been involved enough with YouTube EDU in the past that you'd think I'd have included it in my thoughts about education platforms! There's almost no money to be made making educational youtube videos for youtube on youtube, though. In a sense, Patreon is the platform for educational videos on YouTube... a lot of the best educational video content is supported here!
