Frank, my dear. I’m extremely sorry 😓💔 Now I know why I wasn’t sure if I should mention that 🙈 I didn’t think you would google it though and maybe get more information than you wished. I thought you would simply rewatch that scene. In my defence: I don’t think it was a spoiler because I didn’t mention any names, and because everyone else who’s good at recognizing faces — and realized at that moment in the episode who it was — had the same thoughts and maybe even the same conclusions you had after finding out who it was BEFORE the finale. However, I totally understand why you felt annoyed or upset. I was just really looking forward to seeing your moment of recognition (like at the end of Succession season 3 ☺️), and I was so shocked you didn’t react that I had to say something. I’m really sorry again. I promise I’ll be much more careful with my comments in similar situations in the future. I absolutely love your channel. God bless 🧡

I was only half interested in this show before you started watching it but after the first few episodes of season one, I got hooked and wound up binging the entire series. And yes, each season is better than the last! I’m looking forward to season four. It’s only in pre-production and hasn’t even started filming yet though, so it’s going to be a while. I really like the show-don’t-tell writing and how they’re always subverting expectations. I agree that Meghann Fahy (Daphne) is such a good actor. I recently saw her in another show that has very similar storytelling and vibe and was surprised they didn’t have any writers or directors in common. It’s a miniseries called ‘Sirens’ (take note!).

Forgot how good this season is, I’ve been warming up to it a lot. I think it’s my favorite season.

Not being on instagram is not suspicious! Unless you need those to sell something, nobody should be using those anymore...very bad and invasive. If you really have friends you can text them.

Not to be too graphic or anything, but I think there's a major reason why *mentioned sexual act* is such a big deal for men: I think it comes down to the idea that it is considered a form of ultimate domination and humiliation that is reserved for women, yet is utterly shameful - which is why the thought of a man doing said act to another man evokes such a visceral reaction for hetero cis dudes - in that same vein it is considered an act that is very much ACTIVE, so a woman doing that must actively participate and "degrade" herself. That's a moral failure right there. A lot of women also aren't believed when they say they were coerced into said act. That's my take, at least. Based on general assumptions and own experiences. Sorry for the soapboxing - thanks for your thoughtful and funny reaction to this season - I think it is such an interesting theme this season and so well done.

16:22 Albie you're definitely a mark lmao. 33:50 IDK that's a crazy mindset to me, but if I had to guess it's because deep down a lot of men see women giving them blowjobs as something intrinsically disrespectful and subjugates them, and this means another man getting head = another man has "conquered" your woman(I bet a lot of these same dude are on some DJ Khalid shit "I'll never eat pussy.") It's patriarchal, sexist, chauvinistic bullshit, basically. I really recommend the book Getting Off: Pornography and The End of Masculinity. It doesn't demonize porn itself, but I read it in my women's studies class and it kind of changed my life. I make every man in my life read it now, and every woman.

I don't know who said it (I said it just now, after I knew you'd already seen ep 7 because it was uploaded), but yeah! It was there for a reason imo. Like, if you recognized him you were ahead just a little, if you didn't, the reveal was about to come anyway.. But I've also known who that actor is for at least twenty years (since Napoleon Dynamite), and was already super suspicious of the goings on, so was looking closely for clues. I think if you don't want people pointing out things you may have missed, that's totally fair but you should make a post about it for clarity. <3

I recognized who it was immediately in your defense, but I've been suspicious of the relationship with the gay dudes and Greg from the jump, so I was looking for clues. It felt obvious to me, the timing of Greg leaving, him being so upset that Portia was with her and wanting to send her off, etc.

First Name Ella

44:30 I CALLED IT!!! I CALLED IT FROM THE FIRST EPISODE THEY SHOWED UP IN LOLLLL I knew something was so weird with the timing of Greg leaving, him being insistent Portia not be there, the gay dudes showing up HOURS AFTER GREG LEFT! But I was worried I was reading into things until the photograph reveal! Well the sex reveal too lol, of the kid not being his nephew.

First Name Ella

OMG?? she should have stayed on the boat! she was safe! then used one of their phones! rip rip rip

First Name Ella

She could have gotten a lot more from Albie if she played a longer con tbh. She could learn from greg LOL

Final comment: In the first episode, we learn that the statue face thing in the hotel room represents infidelity and jealousy, so I think when they come together, it shattering is supposed to actually be hopeful and means they're going to move past the jealousy and stuff- although I think you're right when you say you're worried they're going to be more like Daphne and Douchebro.

All she had to do was go to the stern and pull the dinghy around 😫 RIP Tanya, what an icon. Proud of her for fighting as hard as she could when she finally figured it out.

Marianne

I remember seeing an edit of the scene when Portia say "so you fuck your uncle!?" And that's how I started the show. I just wanted to know the story behind that.

Ledgedancer

This season’s musical choices were tops for me. All the arias, the intro credits music, all of it. *chefs kiss*

Abby de Grasso: “I can’t talk right now, but call me when you get back.” What I gathered from that is that the wife back home is in the middle of her own revenge sex, after which she can welcome her husband back. Also: that yacht scene was genuinely terrifying to me on the second viewing. Somehow knowing the outcome made me feel her fear more than the first time I saw this, when I thought Tanya would prevail.

Susan B

Early in the season, Tanya tells Greg about a nightmare she had involving “some men with effeminate hairstyles” and Greg’s face.

Susan B

Remember in the first season of White Lotus, Tanya was so reluctant to put her mother’s ashes in the sea. “She’ll be fish food.” I feel like Tanya has premonitions that she doesn’t know how to interpret.

Susan B

You’re going to love season 3, Frank!

Cristabel

Blam! Blam! Blam! No more fancy gays. Lol. Such a bummer Tanya died after John Wicking them all.

Cristabel

I like to think Portia will report everything to the police and hopefully homie Greg will get some prison instead of money.

Sofia W

I kinda despise how Albie the whole time have been very “I’m a good guy, I don’t wanna make women uncomfortable, work on yourself dad” and then is willing to just sell out his mom like that if he thinks he can get something out of it! I’m not too mad about Lucia swindling him lets just say that 🤭 Mia, Lucia and Valentina really stood in the end as the true winners this season. Rip to the queen Tanya 🫴👑 Also my end thoughts in regards to Ethan is maybe explore if you are into cucking like …

Amanda Hill

Hey Lucia and Mia are the real winners of the season. Lucia played those Degrasso men like a fiddle.

iris

i think i liked this season better than the last one, it was definitely messier lmaoo. i really wasnt expecting that character to be the one to die aww man, that made me a little sad and everything. but hey shoutout to Valentina, Mia and Lucia though so happy to see them thriving. Oh wait didnt they tell Tanya she reminded them of the opera character they went of that concert they saw? and she said she died in the end???? woww

Hunter Cox

Who are these shameless people who can't keep their comments to themselves for another week and "unintentionally" keep spoiling twists for you? Not cool. Y'all need to learn some reaction channel etiquette for real.

Valaree

“These gays are trying to kill me!” - me every time a new bit of IWTV season 3 news drops

Valaree

I’m glad Tanya got her John Wick moment. Hopefully that yacht full of bodies leads back to her husband, what a monster!

frankfreezy

I didn't even think of that. He likes to his mom smh

JRW

I didn’t see it this way at all. I think he had noticed a change in his dad. Also, at the beginning of the season he says he’s “the peacemaker.” He had already put in a good word before even asking for anything. So essentially he got what he wanted for free.

M

To be fair to you we don’t know when he put the word in with the mom since we didn’t see it. So while it could’ve been before asking his dad for the money I do believe it was actually after esp since mom wasn’t answering Dominic’s calls prior to that but now she was. Yes, Albie is the peacemaker but he had flat out refused to get involved prior to this as he knows how much his word means … until it benefitted him. To me it read that once he put the mom card out there to dad - he knew his dad would take the bait so he just went ahead and made the call. I honestly don’t know how much “change” Albie could’ve even actually seen, he wasn’t privy to all that the audience was with his dads journey plus he was preoccupied with Portia and Lucia most of the time. But to each their own - you’re perhaps more glass half full than us.
