Is it insane? Yes. Will i watch on thinking genius is being made? Yes.

Theory theory theory, please do not respond if I’m correct or if I’m not. It just hit me. The FBI agent could be Hap… the woman that met up withHap and had her five mechanical prisms in the room with Hap knew he was going to drug her, called in for ambulance, when she started to make love to Hap she told him to remember the feeling that he had hold onto it because he was going to need it. Then she did her routine collapsed. Hap caught one of the cubes before closed. Everything that OA went through with the trees and the synapsis all of these different dimensions Hap has proven he can seamlessly go from one to another, retaining his own memories up until this point. What if what is inside the cubicle he placed his finger in allowed him to shape shift? I might be nuts. Heck, I’m sure I’m nuts. Ha ha ha. But there’s always been a big? Olivia FBI officer and his understanding and manipulations from the beginning until now. He truly gives me HAP vibes.

If Jesse saw BBA as a mother figure, that means he was watching the countdown to losing another parent. She was leaving him just like they did. I’ve wondered if that was the last straw for him.

I've seen others speculate about this too. I don't see it personally. The way the agent speaks at the end about spaces and being sent to help her is like the antithesis of Hap. Hap doesn't speak like he has advanced knowledge. He doesn't: he's floundering around trying to figure all this out too. I feel like the agent is some sort of guide. He asks leading questions (of OA and French and the others in universe 1) to help them focus in the right direction.

Perhaps engineer is a better word than guide, seeing as how we know mediums and engineers are important...

Jesse is such a tragic character. Such a beautiful, sensitive kid. He couldn't cope with everything he's been through. His response to the car backfiring... Everybody else moved past it and he spiralled, and he just swallowed it all up inside himself because he didn't know how to reach out to them. He probably felt like he was the weakest link. The way he was talking about death with such warmth and confidence to the uncle was so telling...

In the last episode, Old Night told OA that in each dimension, she has a "brother". Someone who helps her and looks out for her. We found out that in that dimension Karim is her "brother" because he saved her after Old Night killed her. I think the FBI agent might be her "brother" in this dimension

Medievel sniffing Homer had you thinking, ah phew it's just a dream...or was it 👀

2x6 was a hard one for me. My son overdosed in 2021, and I still don't cope in a healthy way about it. I've been working since last week to get into individual therapy, but unless you have intentions to harm yourself, it takes a lot of patience, backing up all copies of everything, and staying on top of it. I am disabled and only can go where they accept Medicare. I, have no intentions of mortally wounding myself and am very much spitefully alive. I'm alive in spite of the choices I made and the consequences good and bad. I don't wish anyone ill will, but "ain't nothing worse can be done to me," so f*ck anyone who thinks they can hurt me or make me feel bad about myself. I'm so far into survivor's guilt and parental mistakes guilt that I am my own worst enemy.. And those are some of the many reasons i need therapy.. haha. Thank you for letting me vent. I'm not looking for attention or sympathy, but sharing does help ease the pressure; and someone else out there might have a similar story.

For sure Hap can't take "no" for an answer..he's too much of a narcissist and has to control everything. As far as I'm concerned he is emotionally immature.

No matter how many times I revisit this show, I'm still so blown away by the storytelling and the world building and the character development. So many shows just follow the same basic arc and I'm so grateful when truly creative ideas make it through to the world. I'm absolutely loving seeing this fresh through your eyes, Frank.

i think evelyn, the woman with ALS from season 1. is the skin selling lady

1:03:49 I feel this, Frank. I felt that way about students sometimes -- school might be the only place they feel safe, get fed, receive a smile, etc. I greeted every student by name at my door every single day. I wanted them to know they were seen and that I was happy they were there. Now, that I'm retired but subbing at the high school, I get to see many of my middle schoolers. It's so heartwarming when they're excited to see me. Conversely, some students have opposite experiences at school where they are bullied, ostracized, and feel unsafe. :(

Melissa

I've also had students who came in dirty with ill-fitting clothes. So many people, including fellow teachers, never thought to consider that they don't WANT to come to school that way. There are elementary and middle school teachers that make fun of kids' clothes or complain about body odor. Like, do you really think that is what that child wants?? Yes, sometimes kids are not always careful with hygiene in teen years, but I always wonder -- do they have running water? are they allowed to shower? is there money to buy new clothes that fit? when was the last time they ate? where do they sleep? do they sleep? I have a close friend who grew up in a middle class white family. Her mother would only allow her to wash her hair once a week, and she had oily hair. So, she went to school with really dirty looking hair. That wasn't her fault!! It was neglect. I could go on and on about this. I am so thankful for the people in the world that care enough to help others, like you, Frank.

I think that many who seem fine aren't and you only learn about it after the fact, when something like this appears to come out of nowhere. These people were probably the most accepting of him and closest to friends he had and they might have brought light into his life but sometimes that's not enough. Sometimes love isn't enough and people end their lives. It's a sad reality that we think we know people, or that they know we're there for them for anything, but that just isn't enough. I feel like he was losing the only adult he had in his life that cared about him, and he cared about, and probably didn't want to live in that world; all he seems to have known is loss.

They definitely had a plan for Jesse's story in the planned 5 season arch that unfortunately we didn't get to see. Maybe one day. This episode kills me jesse was so quiet and sweet and reminds me of my friend who I lost in a similar way. 😔 I hate that this is how his story ended i want to believe he did jump and it would've been shown in a later season

Wissal

I find it really interesting that Khatun in OA's NDE's spoke Arabic. Then her two "brothers" sent to help her are Kareem and Rahim, both Arabic names (Kareem even spoke Arabic to the cleaners) both names that are names describing God. And the octopus name Azrael is the name of the angel of Death in islam. I wonder if these represent specific roles? It's so cool to see anything Muslim or Arabic represented in this light and in such a surrealist show

frankfreezy

That is awesome I didn't even realize that

Chelsey Linden

Steve isn’t but yeah Hap is definitely like that Angel Kim.

Chelsey Linden

Hmm I see what you did there Angel Nicole. 😂😂😂😂😂

Chelsey Linden

When the FBI agent Rahim said “I was sent to help her” probably means he’s also her Brother not just Karim Angel Frank. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
