Concavia: Weyhōsa (redesign). (Patreon)

I wasn’t happy with how mortal my previous design for the Weyhōsa looked, so I reworked it. In case you don’t remember who the Weyhōsa are, they’re a faction of deserter Alves who abandoned their posts at Upergora to hunt down the retreating Dwalves. For their disobedience, they were banished from Upergora, never to return.

In my last design, the Weyhōsa looked far too human. They didn’t look like they would be a threat to a Dwalf. That just wasn’t right. Alves are the direct descendants of the gods, and the look of the Weyhōsa needed to reflect that.

Alves now glow brightly and are beings of light, making them much more like the inverse of the Dwalves, who are completely black as pitch. In their redesign I wanted their outfit to mirror the Dwalf day-shroud design, with spell strips bestrewn about them. These are protective spells for the most part. This Weyhōsa’s shield, for example, is just four great egret wings pinned together, but the spell strips add a supernatural durability.
