There’s still a bit more to do on this page, but I’ll be back with the finished thing at the start of next week, colours, lettering and all. Anyway, have a great weekend everyone!

Thank you for supporting my work 🙏🏻

Alien Person

Oh hell yeah, stunning visuals as always!

Fascinating! So they are headed to the large thruster that helps propel the star! The Tandraxian high council might meet there to give a sense of equality, as if there was a star engine they met on it might be viewed as giving that engine too much power, not to mention how normal star engines may not have the facilities needed for whatever the high council is doing. Is the high council composed of psionic monks, and there are psionic amplifiers to aid them in cloaking the nomad-star from the All-Mother there? One thing I've noticed about the lore is that the Imperium settles planets to make womb-worlds in spite of their steep gravity wells. Now that I think about it, ELAN matter is attracted to places with greater gravitation, so maybe that's why AM mostly grows her forces on planets. One thing I've wondered for a while is what society may look like on a spaceship where people live for most or all of their lives and there are generations that are born and grow up on that ship. It doesn't necessarily need to be a generation ship in interstellar space, but it could be a community who live on a ship that travels a galaxy similar to the one in HL and occasionally interacts with others, but is otherwise very isolated and on its own. I imagine such a society would develop very differently than something like on Earth. It would likely be much more authoritarian in comparison to societies/cultures on planets. War and other waste of resources couldn't be allowed to happen. This may also lead to efforts to suppress anything viewed as causing violent/detrimental ideas to be spread around, so free exchange of different ideas may be more limited. Leadership may lean much more technocratic/based on knowledge or expertise due to the need to keep the ship's systems running. Education would be of huge importance and each individuals worth may be deeply tied to it. As people need to have a deep understanding of not just STEM to make the ships systems work, but also of human behavior and society. The crew are as much a part of the ship as the technological systems are and things can and often go wrong with humans and their societies. I bet genetic diversity would have to be maintained deliberately, so finding a romantic partner would be very different. The raising of children may also involve a lot more control from the broader society as the community may not want to risk harm to children resulting in mental illness, delays or other problems, as these might impact their society with them all in a confined space. These are just my own thoughts on what it might look like, but I could be wrong. One thing I would find interesting is interactions between people who came from spaceship societies like this and those who came from planets. How they would think about each other's ways of life and customs and how this would affect their interactions. What do you think? Sorry about the wall of text, I hope you have a good day!

Hello, been a fan of your work for a while now and this is my first comment here. I recently got this homebrewed idea of a universe in your multiversal cosmology that I call the REEF, partially inspired by Kurzgesagt‘s video “Ancient Life As Old As The Universe” on YouTube, and I was wondering what you thought of it. My apologies if this is a rather large comment. The physical constants of the REEF universe make it remarkable akin to the condition of the REAL roughly 19 million years after the Big Bang, though unlike our own universe its expansion appears to have completely stopped at that point (or either occurs so slowly that it has practically ceased), making it only a quarter the size of the REAL today. Still, its physical constants are different too. It has a maintained temperature, possibly a result of being full to the brim with giant, nebulous clouds of exotic energy and matter, and the chemistry that follows that. This has made it a chaotic, extradimensional ecosystem right out of H.P. Lovecraft’s “From Beyond”. Billions of strange organisms flip and flop about the “vacuum” of its space, all of varying sizes and shapes. All of them are somehow psionically sensitive, and many are adapted to the use of specific psionic abilities. What seems to be one consistent rule, however, is that the bigger and older a REEF organism, the smarter and psionically stronger it is. Though rare, there are a number of titanic REEF organisms that are intelligent and psionic beyond our comprehension, outright eldritch abominations that could give the AM and her imperium a real run for their money. They are the reason that the REEF universe isn’t used to travel vast distances in the REAL. Despite the REEF being smaller than the FLUX, any wormhole made to it always draws their very much unwanted attention. And they are never interested in peaceful communication. Thankfully they don’t have the ability to leave the REEF universe as of yet, and smaller REEF organisms can’t survive here for long, though this hasn’t stopped a number of mad, psionic cults hidden amongst the Conglomerate from trying.

Hey Roman, it’s nice to hear from you and thanks for supporting what I do 🙏🏻 I think that’s an amazing idea and very lovecraftian! One way that the REEF could be canon without messing up pre-established lore is if this REEF was actually the next bubble universe over from our own separated from us by the ever expanding inflaton field. Thanks for sharing!
